Roof Services
Since its founding in 2015, Solar Bear has offered excellent roofing services. The lists includes the following:
- Roof repairs
- New roof Installations
- Insurance roof remediation
- Inspections and maintenance
- Roofing consulting services
The combination of roofing services with solar installation can be especially beneficial for customers who need a new roof and want to go solar. Solar Bear can accomplish both tasks at once and eliminate the need to find two separate companies to do the job. Solar Bear’s roofing services are for both residential homes and commercial businesses.
Icynene Spray Foam Insulation Service
Solar Bear offers a full-treatment spray foam insulation service. Foam is injected into walls where gaps in insulation exist and cause heat or cool air leakage. In some cases, homes that do this treatment can save up to 50 percent on their electricity bill each month.
Using insulation ensures a more efficient energy system all year round. Few solar companies in the industry even consider insulation as part of energy conservation, making Solar Bear a leader in the field. The foam treatment is warrantied for the lifetime of the building, regardless of the owner.

The Bad
- Doesn't Perform Installations
- No Warranty Information
Doesn't Perform Installations
Solar Bear outsources its solar panel installations to third parties in the state of Florida. Sometimes this can cause a lack of communication between the two companies and lead to other problems. However, Solar Bear uses only certified home energy specialists, hopefully eliminating the risks associated with outsourcing the installation.
No Warranty Information
Solar Bear’s website claims to offer the longest warranties in the industry, however, no information on these warranties is mentioned on the website. Customers should be sure to check with the company on warranty length and specifications before choosing to go solar.
The Bottom Line
Solar Bear is a fairly new company offering solar, roofing, and insulation in Florida. The company began in 2015 by local Floridians and has since grown to over 10 times its original size. The company stands out by offering a variety of services all-in-one, including roofing, insulation, and solar, helping to make each and every home's energy plan more efficient and cost-effective.
The company services most areas in Florida and offers industry-leading warranties, however, customers should be sure to ask for warranty details when choosing to use Solar Bear for their energy needs.
