The founders of SolSun USA were former employees of other solar providers fed up with how business was being conducted. This collaboration of solar professionals from across the country decided to ditch the traditional corporate model and create their own installation service.

As a coalition of solar professionals, the SolSun USA service ranges from coast to coast, operating in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
While there are some solar providers that offer services to more than one state or in a region of the country, there are not many within the industry that service across the entire country covering nearly half of the United States. By offering services in 23 states, SolSun USA sets its services apart from the industry.

While SolSun USA does not provide the financing for solar systems, the company does install systems that are being leased or financed through a third party. The goal at SolSun USA is to help homeowners access clean energy while also helping them save on monthly electric bills.
