Crisp’s purpose is to help foodies build the restaurants of their dreams with ease and create amazing experiences for their customers.

Crisp is the only Point-of-Sale (POS) solution built from the ground up to consolidate the fractured restaurant tech ecosystem, helping quick serve and fast casual restaurants scale. Developed in-house, Crisp is an end-to-end infrastructure connecting restaurant owners to their employees and customers with one powerful platform.

The Good

  • Designed Specifically for Restaurants
  • Free Demo

Designed Specifically for Restaurants

Crisp was designed for restaurants of all sizes. The POS company explains that it “took the most important pieces of the inflated restaurant technology market and created a simple, powerful system.”

Free Demo

Those interested in finding more about Crisp and using its services for their restaurant can sign up for a free demo. All that is needed is a first and last name, business/organization, email, phone number, number of locations, and what you are looking for in a POS system.

The site does not specify how long the free demo will last and if there are any restrictions to usage.

The Bad

  • Vague Website

Vague Website

There is an underwhelming amount of information on Crisp’s website.

While the company page looks professional, there is hardly any information about the software, company integrations, fees and contracts, updates, or whether the product works with Apple or Android operating systems. It would be helpful for Crisp to include more details, so clients know exactly what they’re getting with Crisp’s services.

Consumers who want to know more about Crisp will need to contact the company directly.

The Bottom Line

The most frustrating thing about Crisp is the sheer lack of information on the company website. As business owners look for a POS system, they must have all the necessary information upfront — allowing them to quickly decide which POS system is right for them, their business, and their customers. While Crisp appears to be a trustworthy company, the lack of details may deter some consumers.
