I love the affordable prices Petco has for all of their feline toys, food, and more. If you have a pet Petco has it. I also loved as a kid coming in to look at all of the animals that you could get as a kid, it was my favorite part. I love how easy Petco makes it to purchase online and make orders where all I have to do is pick it up from the local store. I don't even have to walk into the store anymore.

Ordered dog food waited 4 days unable to track package called customer service was told package at Warehouse told them keep and give me refund would not do anything for me can't understand person I talked to terrible company to deal with go with CHEWY they are the BEST!! Prices good and order arrives 1-2 days any problems solved while on phone with them go out of their way to help you STAY AWAY FROM PETCO I know I'll never buy anything from them again lie and tell you order shipped still at Warehouse checked right after getting off phone with them BEWARE

I will forever order from Chewy!! I accidentally ordered two litter boxes when I placed an order for my cat and dog. I was happy to return the extra and emailed Chewy.com as to how to go about doing so but was told by the company to donate it to a local shelter instead!! Any animal parent knows this is SUCH a better option and more companies should have this mind set!!

I placed an order for autoship. I got a msg that they "tried to deliver the order but couldn't ". Seriously? It's not like my doorstep has changed since the last shipment. When I called customer service, she was not only unhelpfuul, but also rude. Because of this, I will never use Chewy again. They've left me in a bind. And when they "couldn't" deliver, it leaves me in a bind. Their customer service reps should realize that

However, Chewy does come out on top with its free shipping. Chewy offers free 2-day shipping on orders over $49. Petco also offers free shipping on orders over $49, but several products are excluded — which is extremely frustrating for customers as they’ll have to read the fine print to find out which products don’t apply. Additionally, Petco may charge customers with an additional fee for oversized items.
Because Petco isn’t solely online, the company offers several services that Chewy doesn’t. At most locations, Petco provides grooming services, training classes, doggie daycare, and even veterinary care. Petco even hosts a number of pet adoption events throughout the year. With Petco, pet owners have the convenience of shopping online, but can also take their pet in if they need additional services.
If you’re buying larger pet products (dog food, cat food, litter, etc.) and want the best deal, we recommend Chewy. The company has a fantastic auto-ship program and doesn’t charge more or exclude heavier items. That being said, you still can get free shipping with Petco — just be sure to read the fine print. Plus, if you need any additional pet services, Petco has you covered.
