I had to use this device, and they couldn't hear me, even though I was yelling and crying for help. I kept pushing the button, so they contacted the sheriff here in the county to come over and check on me.

I wear the neck piece around the house, I accidentally pressed it and they said no problem right away and reset everything. It's good service, I'm really happy with it.

It's very simple, you just press the button. But, we have bumped the button accidentally several times and they've always been very congenial when we have to reset the machine. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good.

They continue to call a person trying to make sales of different equipment and knowing the person can't hear them they charge the person for the equipment. This has happened even when the customer told them they couldn't hear them and gave them my number to call.

In the beginning, I thought this was the best company because they had good customer service, and excellent response time. We had to use it one time when I fell on the ground and couldn't get up. Unfortunately, I'm currently having problems with the billing department even though I've been a customer for 6 years.

Whenever I've had a question, their customer support has responded promptly. I haven't had to use the actual device yet in an emergency, but I have set it all up.

I like this device, but it triggers and accidentally goes off easily. I'm severely hearing impaired, and when they call back to make sure I'm okay, I can't really hear them - if it was a real emergency, I'd be in real trouble.

I haven't had to use it, but when we tested the device, they took forever to answer. It sounds like their customer support isn't instructed fully on how to help us, but amid all that they really do try to be helpful.

I've never really had to use it but I wear it every day. It gives me security to know that it's always there. It's just too large and kind of awkward to wear. It's also a little bit expensive for me.

I'm in the process of changing companies. The other day I was running a test and there was a lot of static in the line. The person couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them. Eventually the call was disconnected. Right after I got a message on the screen that said I hadn't called. We had to reset the whole system to get it to work again. I would say that the device itself is fine, but it doesn't work that well up here. Maybe if I was a little further down south.

One of my kids checked it out on the internet and said it was the best one so I got it. I've only tested it so far. I had a thing that I could just clip on but it broke. They have sent me two already but they're different from the one I had. I keep telling them that I want one like the first one but they keep sending the wrong ones.

I just take it and hang the button around my neck. I had a stroke once and I used it then. They were useful then, but I think they could've done better. When that happened I wasn't told I should take my purse with me to the hospital, and I was Jane Doe for 24 hours. They should check to make sure their patients know those things.

The time that I needed it and used it, customer service was very very professional and good. Though I had one that failed and just didn't work. It would charge for 2-3 hours, and hold charge for 6 hours at most. They sent me a couple of necklace and buttons to try and fix it, but I kept telling them it was just with the charger, and that they needed to change that. They finally got it through their heads and sent me a whole new charging outlet. I do have my doubts on whether or not they're going to come if I need them. Whenever I do the monthly checks it takes really long, if I was on an emergency I would probably die before I got an answer.

I've had a pretty bad experience so far. I wouldn't say they are very trustworthy, there was a lot of incompetence when I had to deal with them. From the beginning, they mailed me two different sets of devices and charged me for both of them after my son had paid for everything with his credit card. It was very hard for us to get it all straightened out. I'm also not very comfortable with wearing either one of the devices. I never wear the wristwatch because the band irritates my wrists so it's hard to keep it on. As for the necklace, I usually have no issues if I wear it between an undershirt and a shirt. Those times I don't even know I have it on. However, during the summer weather I only wear a single shirt, so the device scratches against my chest. As for emergencies, I've never had a genuine one where I needed to use it, though I've had a couple of false alarms. During those experiences, I haven't had any problem. They are very understanding of the accidental activation and they respond quickly.

Medical Alert has a GPS and I can take it anywhere I want. I always put the lanyard around my neck and I put it in the charger. Half the time I forget about the GPS. Their representatives are very helpful and friendly. Nevertheless, sometimes when I take it off and put on my clothes the alarm goes off. It once went off and I couldn't get to it quick enough to turn it off and nobody responded. They were supposed to call my sister but she never received the call.

Medical Alert has been a lifesaver for my husband. The one thing that prevented it from being a "10" is that there is no need to contact everyone on the emergency list once someone has been contacted.
