Took 2 weeks to get a shipment OUT OF THEIR DOOR for a very simple order. Then they required an adult signature without ever informing me during the ordering process. Incredibly slow company and the website is really really bad.

I do most of my shopping on MidwayUSA. They are reliable and even if at time they are a few dollars more expensive, I know my order will be delivered. Buyer Be Aware: The Economy Shipping may take very long not because of MidwayUSA but because of the shared shipping responsibilities between USPS and UPS. I suggest you pay a little more for shipping and skip the hassle of eco shipping. I love MidwayUSA and recommend them very highly.

Return policy of 90 days is terrible for something that was purchased at Christmas and not opened until April or May when you get your boat out( Wisconsin). I would not purchase anything from them again.
The Final Word
When it comes to firearms and ammunition, Brownells has quite a bit to offer. Those who visit the Brownells website are able to purchase a variety of blackpowder guns, rifles, handguns, and shotguns as well as handgun ammo, rifle ammo, rimfire ammo, and shotgun ammo. Customers can filter the list of firearms online by the following special filter tags: Price, Reviews, Available Outside USA, In Stock, Made in USA, Products with Articles, Products with Videos, and Sale/Clearance. Other filtering options that Brownells provides on its website include make, model, relevance, and manufacturer. These filters are designed to help customers find what they are looking for quickly and efficiently.
Additionally, Brownells provides firearm and ammunition price ranges that could work for almost any budget.
Like Brownells, Midway USA also has a 60-day return policy and a decent selection of firearms and ammunition for sale. MidwayUSA sells various shotguns, handguns, rifles, and black powder guns including pistols, revolvers, and rifles. MidwayUSA also sells a good range of handgun ammo, rifle ammo, rimfire ammo, and shotgun ammo on its website.
In terms of website filtering options, MidwayUSA customers can filter firearms by cartridge, hand (right, left, ambidextrous), type, action type, availability, brand, shipping, discounts and deals, customer ratings, and price. Instead of providing customers with set price ranges for filtering, MidwayUSA allows customers to input their own personal minimum to maximum price ranges.
Overall, both Brownells and MidwayUSA stick to their reputations and provide high-quality firearm and ammunition products. Brownells does seem to be more firearm and ammunition-focused than MidwayUSA but does not provide all of the additional outdoor-related items that MidwayUSA does. Those interested in purchasing firearms and ammunition may want to consider what both companies have to offer before making a buying decision.
