I love the quality and variety of products that Bass Pro Shop has. The customer service is always so nice. They have so many outdoor stuff to choose from and it's not all about fishing gear. I love that Bass Pro Shop has so many ammo and firearm options for affordable prices.

In looking for ammunition, I use a search engine called "Ammo seek" and many times Bass Pro comes up at a competitive price. So I order my ammo which is listed as "IN STOCK". I may or may not receive a confirmation email from them, but the worst part is that after waiting several WEEKS for any shipment information, in frustration I try contacting them. UGH! They have already charged my credit card for my missing order, but now finally tell me that the order is OUT OF STOCK and is cancelled. Why was it listed as being IN STOCK?? Why was my credit card charged?? CROOKS!

Great stores and friendly customer service. Very helplful staff, Willing to work with others. They could use more choices of hunting boots and have a better selection of guns and ammo and they give at least 15% in military discounts for military and veterans

The Final Word
Bass Pro Shop allows customers to filter firearms by category, subcategory, online offers, firearm type, cartridge or gauge, brand, size, action, price, and average ratings. Bass Pro Shop offers firearms from many popular brands like Benelli, Beretta, Browning, Glock, Remington, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, etc.
The outdoor retailer provides a price range that could work for customers with small and large budgets. In terms of other shooting-related items, Bass Pro Shop offers a variety of ammunition rounds, gun parts, gun storage items, personal defense items, shooting accessories, reloading supplies, optics and scores, and much more.
Like Bass Pro Shop, Cabela’s has plenty of options in terms of firearms featured on its website. Customers can purchase handguns, rifles, shotguns, and black powder firearms, and have the option to purchase from the company’s online gun library. In terms of shooting-related items, Cabela’s sells ammunition, reloading products, gun storage items, gun maintenance items, shooting accessories, optics, tactical gear, and more. Cabela’s, however, does not have as many online filter options as Bass Pro Shop and does not have as simple online navigation functions as Bass Pro Shop.
Overall, both Bass Pro Shop and Cabela’s are reputable online and in-store outdoor retailers. Those interested in purchasing ammunition and firearms may want to consider more firearm-focused companies as Bass Pro Shop and Cabela’s are more general outdoor-focused companies. However, Bass Pro Shop and Cabela’s are great options for those looking to purchase beginner to mid-level firearms and ammunition.
