I had been with them for over 2 decades and not once have they offer me the opportunity to have a successful card with them. With them I was never good enough. I applied with Capital One and no result. Turn me down flat.

They have discrepancies/uncertainties in their definitions of the debit card use that allow them to play dirty games. You need to monitor your account constantly because they can apply a $35 fee when you expect it the least. You can never relax.

I have been in conversation with a loan officer. Who took poor information and thus issued a incorrect preapproval letter which mislead me and made my fiancé and I look for homes within that budget. When he realizes his error he sends and informal email and reduced the amount offered by $20,000. When I asked why he became dismissive and flippant.

Fraud dept. failed to catch 167 unauthorized fraudulent LYFT charges to my acct. This occurred over a 6 wk period and totaled over $2200. Many of the charges were occurring simultaneously -up to 6 a day. It wasn't until I opened my statement that this came to my attention!

I have a Bank of America card and I hate it. Paying this stupid thing every month is the biggest pain ever. I don't bank through them, and they make it this huge hassle to try and connect your bank account so I can't pay online. So I have to pay by phone every month, and their automated phone system is like talking to the dumbest robot ever made.

When I got Bank of America I didn’t know what I know now but when I got it, they never told me I had to pay $300 up front before I could use it and then charged me and it went straight to my credit and messed it up and still had to pay for a card I didn’t use.

I only use my debit card occasionally as a credit card since I mainly use it for ATM transactions only. That said, BofA customer service has been great and I enjoy using the bank. ATM fees could be less for out of network.

Problem with on-line purchases where they have to verify first it was you making the purchase through text messages which takes some time. Very inconvenient. My other credit cards are not like that.
