We liked the pricing of brands that were available at Urban Outfitters. Urban Outfitters is not without controversy. We found that their marketing campaigns were sometimes a little bit insensitive. There was a version of Monopoly released called Ghettopoloy. The NAACP criticized Urban Outfitters for this somewhat tasteless game. In 2012, Urban Outfitters also released a transphobia greeting card. This was problematic for LGBT customers, many of which decided to take their business elsewhere. We also looked a little bit more closely at Urban Outfitters' customer complaints. One customer ordered something for a bridal exchange. The item arrived extremely badly damaged. The bride actually called for another item and the customer who purchased the item on the bridal registry was billed twice. This indicates that Urban Outfitters has some problems with its billing and collections procedures.

The Bottom Line

Overall, we thought that Urban Outfitters had some unique products and services for its customers. The hipster approach and different marketing paradigms make shopping at Urban Outfitters a unique experience. Customers can buy things for the outdoors, deck out their apartments, and find other items in addition to clothes. If you enjoy their style of clothing and have a decent budget, they may be a good option for you. Be aware of their billing issues and also, try to watch for their sales. If they had more sales and better company tactics, we would recommend Urban Outfitters.

This place matches my style so well. I gave them a five rating but there flaw is they like to over price their clothing. Best time to shop is during a sale around holidays. Only then is this store worth it. Don;t buy clothes ate full price. It is ridiculous. Another reason why it is 5 is the store is setup like your bedroom. Everything is comfortable and not in your face selling you. It is really chill (cool music). Good atmosphere.

I bought a rug and some towels and the website is set up to be very easy to shop from. I've purchased shoes from them in the past and love their online selection of some of my favorite brands.

Their new shipping policy has caused me so much stress. I really can't believe that something as simple as changing the address cannot be done or even canceling my order within the same hour that I made that order. Only to be told by 3 separate agents that I had to contact UPS. Once I contacted UPS, I was told to contact UO so they can contact UPS to change the address and I ended up in this infinite loop for 3 days, So in all, I wasted all my time trying to correct a small error. Whatever changes they made to their policy don't take into account errors such as these things and really don't even help in helping out the customer. I have shopped there since I was a teenager and I'm so terribly sad to have been treated the way I was.

Urban Outfitters is SO CUTE! Their clothing is very in style for these days. The sizes are tiny though! Its like their clothes only fit model size or as tiny as the mannequins size. Also, the clothes are tear or the seams can rip super easily.

My online shopping with Urban Outfitter is so far the worst. I placed an order online half months ago and paid for the shipping. the order is only four items, don't know why they need to separate the order and make it two different shipments. The first package was fast, however, they DID NOT REMOVE THE SECURITY, so I drove for 1.5 hours to get to the physical store to take the tags off, which is waste of my time. And I paid for the shipping, the whole point of this online shopping is to save time, totally ruined it. as of the remaining of the order, they never came. And the tracking shows the order is delivered. Panicking!!!! I called customer services, they told me they don't know what is going on. and asked me to call my bank to discharged the purchase. waste of my time again!!!! However, the products I did receive are good, but these products are available everywhere!!! All I wanted is to save some time on shopping, and I end up wasting more time doing so. And customer service is not responsible, every rep tells you a different story. One of them said could not find my order, and one of them tell me to call the bank. Obviously, the second lady did find my order, so the first one is just trying to get rid of me.

I do a lot of online shopping, this company is the absolute worst I've encountered. I ordered a dress. I get an email saying the order was canceled, here's a coupon for 20% off and free shipping. So I reorder. The coupon code turns out to only be 15%, not the 20% promised in the email, and with no free shipping. I placed the new order anyway since I really wanted the dress. Few days later I get another email saying they were mistaken, the original order was never canceled, and that it was on its way. I emailed customer service multiple times, they finally sorted things out. I made another order with another discount code that I received for all my troubles. It was a huge order with more than ten items. I don't know why they can't compile the order into one. Anyways, they sent everything in separate packages. One of the packages was lost. I had to contact customer service. They refunded me, but they made a mistake. I ordered two tube tops of two different colours and they only refunded me for one. So I have to contact them again. Also they have no option of reshipping, any lost items can only be refunded. That means if I were to reorder I'd lose the original discount code that I was using. I've never in my experience had so many problems with online ordering from a company. I like their products but I'm never ordering from them again. The process is stressful and annoying. Not to mention their shipping isn't free!

I purchased a shirt a month prior to a trip and got standard shipping which states 7-10 business days. After 3 WEEKS of waiting I finally contacted them via email 3 times and they did not get back to me, when their website states "you will receive a response within 24-48 hours". Did not receive any response so I called their customer service line, which they gave me express shipping and states it should get to me before my trip, 2-3 business days. It is a WEEK later, and tracking through USPS it now updated stating I am recieving my item the day after I leave. This company is extremely frustrating. They obviously do not care about customers as well as you can see how many times I have attempted to contact them with no reply. The amount their clothing costs is not worth it.

Ordered from the site and one item shipped quickly without any issues the others shipped separately and were late because they attempted delivery twice but had the wrong address. How do items that are on the same order as the last one now have the wrong address? After being on the phone several times with UPS and not getting anywhere I called UO customer service who just told me to call UPS back and their best guess is that the shipping label got cut off, why didn't anyone check this? So finally after hearing nothing for a few days I talked to customer service again who said they would send me a refund and I should expect it in 24-48 hours. It took at least 4 days and writing another customer service member to get it taken care of except they refunded me for the one item that actually came on time not the three still missing. Wrote again to customer service who said they would call within a few hours and still haven't heard anything. It's been days and I wrote in as well, nothing. I'm guessing I'm never going to get this refund. DON'T EVER SHOP HERE.
