Nasty Gal

Wow! Maybe I’m one of the “lucky” ones! After I placed my order I looked online at the reviews and I got TERRIFIED I had been scammed. Everything seemed normal though. My order went through, discount applied, emails, and it shipped the next day. I just received it all and was praying everything was good so I could post a good review here. I love all of it! Everything fit, came as described and didn’t feel cheap. I’m actually very impressed and happy and am not sure why I had such a great experience but I’m glad I did and it’s true! I think I would definitely order from them again. I guess it’s hit and miss for everyone but I am pleased! Hope this reassures some of you who are worried!

I used to buy at nasty gal every 2 weeks, and tbh they don't have the best quality but it was ok. I had an event on February 27th. I bought a dress with some accessories on the 21th, the app always said "expecting date arriving on the 25th" and I bought it because I was going to get it "before" leaving the country. The order arrived the day of the event, of course I was at this point more than 800 miles away from home. I got home the next week and i was trying to do the return on the order, turns out you have to pay the return label. It doesn’t matter how much is the cost of the shipment, even if it is $1 dollar, you shouldn’t pay anything. I didn't even open the package. This is so bad, i spoke with customer service on email - they stopped answering, 3 times on chat and nobody could help with anything, not even a compensation for all the trouble they made me go though. They have the worst customer service in the whole history and they don’t even care. They don't have supervisors, they dont have phone number for customer service, the representatives can just close their chat and you have to go all over again. No wonder why they went bankruptcy on the first place in the US.

Much like all the rest of these reviews, this company SUCKS. Their exchange policy is BOGUS! Firstly, NASTY GAL sent me the wrong shirt so THEIR mistake. I emailed them making them aware of the issue, and they apologized and said I would have to mail back the wrong shirt and leave a note with the package saying the correct item I ordered along with my order number and they would send back the correct item. I printed out the label and took it to USPS and had to pay for shipping. So again because of THEIR mistake, *I* had to pay to mail it back. Mailed it back then received an email that I was issued a refund??? So I emailed them AGAIN saying I did not want a refill. I wanted an exchange. And I followed the instructions gave to me to do so. They continue to tell me that because the system automatically issued the refund, they cannot send me back my shirt. Like HELLOOO YOUR COMPANY made the mistake I just want the shirt I paid for and ordered! So ridiculous. This happened last month with my IPSY subscription and guess what they did? Apologized and sent back the correct product and told me to keep the incorrect item no questions asked. Nasty Gal sucks.

Nasty Gal has edgy and cute clothing. Their customer service is amazing, always willing to help and super kind to the costumers. Overall their clothing is very good quality and their sizes are very accurate!

I was fortunate that my limited order of one Knit Jumper & Trouser Set arrived intact, but Nasty Gal is committing some major tax fraud, and emails to them both directly and through the website are ignored or bounce back undelivered. They charge a fake sales tax on clothing items that are tax exempt in our state. The amount may be minor per order (1%), but that adds up to a huge haul for Nasty Gal from total sales. That charge is for shipments within the USA and is in addition to shipping charges. I reported Nasty Gal to MA Dept of Revenue, which doesn't tax clothing items or most accessories under $251 each. Would never trust Nasty Gal again. Absolutely NO customer service or accountability.

Worst Experience ever. I bought from "wedding guest dresses" section and bought 2 dresses different colours in 2 sizes so I get the best fit. The dress was not a dress. The material was so thin and poor quality you could see through the material. There were holes in the dress. It was a wrap not a dress. The sewing pattern in it was so horrible, it looked like a bad cheap halloween outfit. I bough this last minute as well so this was supposed to be what I would attend the wedding in. Luckly a family member borrowed me a dress. The accessories.. The earring I bough heart shaped pearl earring one of the pearl was fallen of the earring and apparently I can not return earrings. This company is cheap cheap terrible quality stuff. Returning everything now. Never buying from here again its like buy a 2 pound item from Ebay. You will not get what you see in picture. Pictures are misleading big time!

Mistake after mistake after mistake, no responsibility taken to fix the situation. Ordered 9 items, received 2 and one was clearly not the same item as shown on the website, the thing they sent me was a much uglier and cheaper version. Then received the second package, containing one item, a dress I didnt even order. So after dealing with customer service for 2 weeks trying to sort out my missing items they asked me if I would like the items sent or a refund. I asked them to send them to me but if any were out of stock, to please contact me before issuing a refund as my original payment method was a generic gift card and I didnt have it any more. Next email comes through, none of the items are in stock and theyve processed my refund. I emailed them again. Then they stated only if the payment bounced (which it didnt) would they offer me an alternate method of payment. I would need to contact the gift card provider to get my money back. Not possible. So now Im without the items I ordered and down almost $100. I have to contact the Better Business Bureau now to hopefully step in and rectify this for me. They really are heartless at Nasty Gal. People have problems up to their eye balls and they just create more problems for you and expect you to use your valuable time fixing it. Unbelievable. Disgusting behaviour.

I received my order yesterday (which came late). And in my large order i received "Such a Square Bodysuit". Not only did it have a hole in the front. I went to try it on an the crotch had a yellowish stain on it and i went to sniff because i was like "surely not" and to my HORROR it smelt like someone had 100% worn this before me. This Was clearly someone else's return - where NG obviously didn't check before they sent it on to the next person. Not only is this totally disgusting but it's completely unhygienic!!!!! I feel disgusted and blown away that they would think this was acceptable to send this to someone.

I'm writing this with big sadness I remember first time buying from this website like 5 or even 6 years ago. I never had to do return this is the first time and the experience that I'm going through is horrible nasty!!! Talking to them in emails a whole month for items they received long time ago giving me stories about yes yes we got it but now it's going to UK wearhouse excuse me?? Why do I care?? We live in USA I had it ship to usa not UK. Than asking me for proof of my shipping Receipt with my credit card info for proof of return when I already send my order number and tracking we all know u got it!! Smell and feel as a scam very sad that such a big company treat the clients like this NASTY!!!!

Where do I even start... Bottom line, this place is cheap and unprofessional and they will try to steal your money. Example: 1. I placed 4 orders from Nastygal fairly close in date, all three from August 12-17, and received them all within a week apart. I sent back a lot of it and kept some of it -- what I did send back equalled to about $165.00. Order amounts: $45.00, $105.00, and $10.00. 2. I returned my items no longer than 3 days after they arrived -- they came, I tried them on, I packaged them up and send them back almost immediately after receiving them, spending $25 of my own money (I kept receipts from the Post Office and everything, and had to even scan them into an email on Sept 29th as proof that my orders were sent and received). 3. As of right now, I have only received the refund for the $45.00 order that didn't come into my bank account until *OCT 18*, after days and days of back and forth emails telling them that they owe me money - TWO MONTHS after returning my items did I see ONLY ONE of my returns! First, the returns people tried to tell me that they didn't receive my order, and then I checked the tracking and received a detailed account from the Post Office, who assured me that it arrived 2 DAYS after I send it to them (this is when I sent photocopy proof to them on Sept 29). 4.I sent my items back in August, and It is now NOVEMBER 20TH - I am still awaiting the returns from the other two orders: $105.00 and $10.00. I will not stop emailing them about this. I have even sent them screengrabs from my bank statements (blacking out private information) to show them that my refund has not arrived, and they are still so unhelpful. I am attempting to demand they sent a cheque instead of deposit, though, I'm not getting my hopes up. 5. And, of course, they have no hotline to call.

Not sure if this company is actually fraudulent or just horrible, but I am never ordering from them again! Similar to so many of these reviews, my items were incredibly late BOTH times I ordered and they wouldn't reimburse my shipping or any of my items even though everything arrived SO many days later than the promised date on the rush shipping that both times I had no dress for my events. Then I had to pay additional $ to send the items back (which I decided not to do, since many people said they didn't get reimbursed for their returns when they sent them back). Save yourself the trouble and order from Lulu's or Asos. Basically shop ANYWHERE else and you will be happier!

THE WORST COMPANY Do not buy anything from this company. I bought two items that were not as pictured and when I tried to return them they went back on their return policy and said they owed me no money due to management changes. If the lawyer fees wouldn't cost me more than the items purchased I would have sued the company. This is a breach of their contractual agreement made to all customers and they were wildly unhelpful when I attempted to speak with them about the issue. I received the EXACT same email that said "There's nothing we can do, etc" six times before a different email was received that placed the blame elsewhere. This issue has yet to be resolved by the company and I will never be shopping here again.

August 7th I purchased two shirts and paid extra for expedited shipping (4 days ETA). They didn't complete the shipping information so it was sent all the way to Dallas only then to bounce back and have to be sent all the way to the UK. In the mean time I needed these shirts for a wedding. They did not send me anything nor credit my account. Every time I email them they avoid the actual issue and send me a templet response in efforts to ease my frustration. They don't give me actual answers and are not doing anything to be of good customer service. GET IT TOGETHER NASTY GAL!!! Just because you have unique product doesn't mean you can act lousy. In addition I purchased nude heels with pearls on the heel. When they were delivered one of the pearls were missing. They didn't even check the products condition before sending it to me... come on Girls. I of course returned for a full refund and what do you know... Still NOTHING!!!!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Very upset! I had great experiences with Nastygal.com but this is my time returning items and it has been a nightmare!! First to return items is very confusing. I used the label provided in the package and paid postage for priority mail. Ever since I've been tracking and the status says delivery is delayed since June 8, 2017. I contacted customer service and they sent me this crap: "Thank you for getting in touch. I am sorry to hear that you have not heard anything regarding your refunds from us. I've just checked and can confirm that your returns haven't been received by us just yet. As soon as your returned items have been received back and scanned in at our UK warehouse, we will send you a message to let you know. Your refund will follow shortly afterwards and we will also be sure to let you know once it has been processed. I'm sorry but our warehouse in GA are not able to process refunds, this can only be done in our UK warehouse. Please allow up to 28 days for items to be back in our UK warehouse for refunds to be processed. I apologise for all the inconvenience this has caused you. If you have any other queries please let us know. Have a nice day. Kind Regards, Yandira NASTY GAL Customer Services" Their label and instructions say nothing about this! and I think the address is not their facility. From other reviews, Nasty gal is telling their customers that their items are lost. Believe me when I say DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

I ordered 5 items from nastygal.com, and was told later that one of them was unavailable (clearly available as seen on screen when I placed the order). Without any explanation on what was going to happen with the refund of this canceled item, zero communication for quite a while, and I was charged for all 5 items plus more than 9 dollars international transaction fee plus 1 dollar gointerpay fee!$#*! I panicked, checked the reviews on this nasty babe, SHE has a fraudulent reputation! Called my bank to cancel or dispute the deal. After a few angry emails sent to them from me, they did send me 4 items, with which two of them were untrue to their sizes, badly tailored, literally unwearable and could not be returned!! As I found they did refund the item they canceled from checking my credit card record (still no receipt or written email acknowledging all these transactions), I didn't complain further. But, a few weeks later, I found the refund being secretly deducted from my account simply as a "dispute adjustment", presumably nastygal "worked out" with my bank when my bank tried to dispute the credit card transaction, saying that I actually owed them more money. There goes the fraudulent nastiness of this nasty babe! May your business go down as nasty as your "fashion" and your scamming!! Don't choke on the money you've scammed, nasty girls!!

I ordered a pair of sneakers, for which I paid 30€ for, plus 15€ for shipping. I was unpleasantly surprised when they got delivered to me, and the delivery guy tells me I have to pay 22€ or he won't give me the package. I asked if it was for custom fees, and he told me no, 'cause the sneakers had been shipped from Germany, which is part of the European Union, so I wouldn't have to pay custom fees for them. He told me the 22€ was probably money NastyGal was asking for the shoes themselves. I ended up paying, thinking of complaining later, which I did. The staff replied very quickly, but they only answer with already written drafts, that don't really answer your questions. They told me the 22€ were for custom fees by the government 'cause the sneakers had been shipped from the USA, but that's a lie, 'cause it's written on the stamp that they came from Germany. Also, I ordered size 6,5, which is supposed to be a size 37 in Europe, but the sneakers I got are too big, maybe a 38 or 39. NastyGal's staff wanted me to pay even more shipping costs to have the sneakers returned/changed, and when I said it made no sense 'cause they were the ones sending me sneakers bigger than the size 37 I ordered, so they should be responsible for their mistake, the staff's answer was that if I didn't want to pay more shipping fees I should just donate the sneakers!!!! So basically I wasted 66€ away. Don't do the same mistake folks. Avoid NastyGal.

I have been a loyal NastyGal customer for about 4 years now. The customer service has never been great but in the past year it seems that as they grow bigger their customer service is of their least of their concern. It seems to me and from other reviews I have read on here that Nastygal's quality control is at a low point. I ordered a pair of Jeffrey Campbell beige leather booties. When I opened them in the box it was clear that the shoes had been worn. There was a large stain on the front of the shoe and a number of noticeable scuffs everywhere. It looks to me as if someone had spilled something on the shoe and a girl in shipping decided to clean the stain with a chemical and it looked “good enough” to send to a customer as new. Naturally I contacted their customer service live chat (which is the biggest waste of time – but that is another story) and was re-directed to their email service with no information whatsoever. I received back from Jennifer D “Hello, Thank you for getting back to us. I have issued you a return label so you can return the item and be refunded. Please note the label will work for UPS only. Please let us know if we can assist you further. Jennifer D. “ Where is the apology for their mistake? Where is the offer to what other options I have? Offering me store credit? Offering me to send a new one in the same size? No where. Now it is up to me to take my time to PRINT the label, PACK the items, DRIVE to ups to ship the item back because of NASTYGAL'S mistake for sending a defective item. Then WAIT for my refund (which took 15+ business days last time, which by reading the previous reviews, I am considered “lucky” to have even gotten it back.) Additionally, during our conversation through email it sounded like a robot because she would have the same opening welcome line and same ending line. I had to ask questions repeatedly for her to answer since she would not answer them the first and second time. The clothes are cool and trendy but it seems as if the customer service representatives think that having helpful considerate customer service is not. I guess it's not “cool” or “trendy” to apologize for a mistake at this company. Bottom line: I do NOT and will not recommend buying from NastyGal. You may not have an issue with them now like I did in the past, but sooner or later you will if you continue to shop there. To me, the items are not worth the stress and dealing with their terrible customer service. Sending the shoes back will mean they will try to rip off some other customer by sending it to them trying to pass it as “new.”

Nasty Gal is one of the most fun websites to shop on because you know you are getting unique clothes for great prices. There's nothing more exhilarating than finding a great vintage-inspired piece!

I use to love Nasty Gal. However, the last few items I ordered from them was complete garbage. There was a necklace which was too small to even fit around my neck (and I'm fairly small - A size M in clothing). I also ordered hats and when they arrived they had glue exposed and they were falling apart. I'm pretty sure all of their pieces are being manufactured at a cheap factory in China which is extremely disappointing.

So I purchased 20 items and they were all shipped together, according to the company. I was provided with ONE tracking number. I just got my package and literally half of the items are missing but the entire haul is showing as delivered. I emailed Nasty Gal but no response and they have no number. This is incredibly frustrating and I’m begging to wonder if the missing items were even sent.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DO NOT READ CONCERNS! PAID AN EXTRA 15.99 FOR A DRESS TO ARRIVE 2-3 BIZ DAYS FOR A WEDDING AND ITS NOT ARRIVING UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER AND THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD DISCUSS! AND NOW IT WON'T LET ME PRINT A RETURN LABEL AND I DON'T NEED THIS DRESS ANYMORE! I WOULD HAVE KEPT IF REFUNDED THE 15.99 FOR EXPRESS SHIPPING BUT THEY WON'T DO THAT.

Basically, I returned clothing to them, two dresses and one pair of jeans that they sent me instead of the shorts I ordered ( they got the order wrong). They are refusing to give me back my money or exchange and they have the clothes I returned. Basically they stole from me. No integrity, no customer service and basically they are criminals. Stay away.

Just yesterday had very bad experience with them. My order of $200 was qualified for free shipping, but when I had to pick up my parcel at post office, I've got unpleasant surprise in form of COD $77, which I had to pay to receive the package. I did. But I opened claim with Pay Pal. Even if I dont get those money back, I hope PayPal will pay attention to dirty practices of this company.

Not worth it. I shopped their stuff because it was super cheap & cute! Every order I’ve made they send me either the wrong item or the wrong size & them make me pay to return it when they messed it up. They basically have no customer service to reach out to either, you could try but they never respond.

My order never arrived. It was "returned" even though I didn't demand such a thing. And now they won't refund me. I had no idea how awful this company was. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Read the reviews first and DON'T BUY FROM THOSE LIARS.

I started to order and unfortunately wrote in my e-mail address. I started getting ads every day in my e-mail and I've requested them to stop (and they have not. Then I sent a request via the contact on their website and I got the message returned as not a valid e-mail address.

NastyGal was an acceptable company before they were purchased by Boohoo in early 2017. Boohoo is the worst company ever and now NastyGal is the same. I sent two items back and only got credit for one. Then they want me to send proof of sending as though they never received anything. And never got the credit.

Awful company - first and definitely last time ordering from them. The dress I ordered was poor quality and the customer service was even worse. They steal your delivery costs if you decide to return an item and refuse to refund it even though legally they have to. Disgraceful - DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!

I ordered multiple items from Nasty Gal, and while the prices were very cheap, the items were extremely poor quality and none of them fit right. The sizes do not match the descriptions and do not tend to fit normal body types. Additionally, I had to pay almost $11 for returns on top of what I had already paid for shipping.

Cute and affordable clothing, without sacrificing quality. Unlike other similarly priced stores, their clothes will not wear down after one or two uses.

Have ordered from here 3 times, with a definite drop in quality each time. Sizing is wrong, quality is poor, and I received an item from another brand in my package instead of what I ordered.

Awful experience shopping with nasty gal. Got my order wrong twice and then when I refunded £120 worth of clothes then only gave me £50 refund. Appalled. Strongly advise against shopping here .

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! They refuse to refund my purchase after returning almost $100 worth of clothing to them. The quality of clothing is terrible and the customer service is even worse.

I have looked on Nasty Gal a couple of times. They have a very different sense of fashion. Don't think I would be able to pull it off but they have a lot of cute stuff

Super cute clothing that always stays on trend for affordable prices. Loud, bold clothing.
