Zyro is a DIY website development platform. The company understands that not everybody has the knowledge, money, time, or desire to build a website from complete scratch. That's why Zyro was created.
Zyro offers several website-building tools that are easy-to-use and beginner-friendly.
To get started, users can choose from various designer-made templates and lightly customize them to their liking. In addition, the platform features a simple drag-and-drop editor and grid that makes it easy to position text and pictures in a visually pleasing way.
Setting up e-commerce functionalities is extremely easy with Zyro. Users can either pick a template with an online store page or have one added to their existing Zyro website.
Users can also easily connect their site to Amazon, Facebook, or Instagram to sell products. And lastly, Zyro's e-commerce supports the most popular payment methods (PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and more).
Each of Zyro's plans comes with free hosting. This is a convenient feature as many people pay over $100 per month for hosting services. But, of course, it's important to remember that your hosting services need to be robust enough and scalable to support reliable and secure access to your site.
In addition to free hosting, some of Zyro's premium plans come with a free year of domain registration.
When compared to other website builder companies, Zyro is reasonably priced.
The company's Basic plan is less than $10 per month. The most expensive plan is the e-commerce Plus plan, which costs less than $30 per month.
Keep in mind that the basic plan is quite limited. You only get 3GB of bandwidth and 1GB of storage. However, if that's not enough for your business needs, you can upgrade to the Unleashed plan, which is around $10 per month. The Unleashed plan comes with unlimited bandwidth and storage, plus the free domain for one year.
Building a website with Zyro means you're giving up quite a few features and capabilities. For example, once you've picked your website template, there is no way to change it once it's been chosen. That is unless you create an entirely new website and have all your content transferred over (which can be a cumbersome process).
And while Zyro has over 55 designer-made templates — with more on the way — this amount is much fewer than other website builders (say, Wix, for example).
Unlike many other website builders that allow users to cancel online, Zyro users must contact customer service to cancel. While it's not a significant disadvantage, it is slightly inconvenient.
Zyro is a website development platform catered to those less tech-savvy and who don't have the desire to build a behemoth of a website. In fact, Zyro users don't need any programming skills or graphic design/marketing knowledge. Zyro's plans are reasonably priced and we appreciate Zyro offering free website hosting on all of its plans. Now, Zyro may not be the right choice for people experienced in website building and who want complete control over every aspect.
We're on a mission to empower consumers to make the best decisions and connect confidently with companies that deserve their business.
