Sitey.com

I am a customer of SITEY and absolutely appalled by their customer service and dealing with issues arising from their own developer rendering of files that a customer has NO control over. For nearly a month now there has been RENDERING issues, which I checked on GOOGLE developer page load speed test, as I was wondering why my site was loading the it was, here are problems with my website loading: Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content Your page has 5 blocking script resources and 1 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page. None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML. Remove render-blocking JavaScript: https://149b4.wpc.azureedge.net/…/t.js?brand=Sitey&v=g-201708210808277633 http://storage.googleapis.com/…ts/g-201708210808277633/viewer/viewer.js https://storage.googleapis.com/…nWyws/59a44c964a7abRUkOjvf.js?1503939755 https://storage.googleapis.com/…nWyws/jnc4BQ0zJcLrn7iXvGUi.js?1503939755 https://storage.googleapis.com/…nWyws/HblQznnXN53KO47dl4Pp.js?1503939755 Optimize CSS Delivery of the following: http://storage.googleapis.com/…1708210808277633/viewer-sitey/viewer.css Prioritize visible content Your page requires additional network round trips to render the above-the-fold content. For best performance, reduce the amount of HTML needed to render above-the-fold content. The entire HTML response was not sufficient to render the above-the-fold content. This usually indicates that additional resources, loaded after HTML parsing, were required to render above-the-fold content. Prioritize visible content that is needed for rendering above-the-fold by including it directly in the HTML response. Only about 2% of the final above-the-fold content could be rendered with the full HTML response. As you can imagine the frustration and disappointment in choosing SITEY to build and host my business website. I have been told numerous times, it will be resolved at "somepoint" but cannot give me a time frame for doing it as the technical department/developers do not have a time frame for correcting the issues. WHAT? what kind of website building platform tells their customers basically, they will have to put up with a slow and badly loading website, and still after nearly one month the problem still exists. This should be made illegal in someway as I'm paying FULL subscription rates for a service I am not receiving. The problem being moving a creating another website on another platform, as SITEY is drag and drop platform, will not only be time consuming but means my business website would have to be cancelled whilst looking elsewhere.

Awful. I was paying a ridiculous amount each month which made no sense. I tried to cancel multiple times and they would ignore me and try to offer add ons! I then got charged £40 out of no where and got sent an email stating add ons I had purchased when I never did. I contacted my bank who have got my money refunded and have blocked payments from sitey. They can just take money out your account with no explanation. Avoid.

Poor customer service. And they nickle and dime you with everything. If you buy the most basic version they restrict a lot of things from you including the favicon just to annoy you enough to upgrade. They even make you pay extra just to get some decent support. Also be careful when you check out as they try and sneak add-ons on you, and there will not refund despite the "30 day money back guarantee" . There is good template and it is very user friendly and if they just took care of the bad customer service and the nickle and dime attitude they would be my top choice.

They charge all kind of hidden fees. When you call you always have to threaten the person on the phone to have them refunded. If you want your website to show up anywhere on the net you have to pay another 49.99 one time fee. It's so unexceptable. You spend weeks to make sure it's perfect only to be slammed with fee after fee. So disappointed and disgusted!

Horrible site. I upgraded and they never verified my domain, kept telling lies that they will call me which they din't! They took my money! They are horrible Thieves
