The first thing that struck us about WebHostingHub were the prices. We were informed that it cost just $4.99 a month to get started. This includes, but is not limited too, access to a free domain, a premium website builder, and several other tools designed to make life easy for the customer. Hub also has a 90-day money back guarantee to provide peace of mind to their customers.

Customer Service

WebHostingHub also offers great customer service options including phone, email, live chat, and an extensive knowledge base. This knowledge base can be used by customers to find answers to common questions they may have. We like that WebHostingHub offers all of these great customer service options, as many companies in the industry do not. It provides their customers with convenience and an overall more positive experience.

Customer Service Issues

The average number of minutes a customer is on hold for customer service is eight. While the customer service representatives seemed to be knowledgeable, they rush to get customers off the phone. In addition, the search function on their website did not get any hits from common terms we think should be searchable for a web hosting site.

Shared Web Hosting Only

WebHostingHub only offers shared web hosting, which greatly limits their customers. We would like to see WebHostingHub extend their services to include cloud, managed, dedicated, and VPS web hosting options. This provides more options and customization for customers who would benefit more from plans that included these hosting options. WebHostingHub also only offers three plans to choose from, which does not allow for much scalability for their customers.

The Bottom Line

WebHostingHub could improve their customer service, and could extend their services to include more options. However, we think that WebHostingHub is a solid company with a great reputation and an excellent history of solid performance. Their prices, compared to other companies in the industry, are excellent. With over a 16 years in business, they have proven their presence in this particular industry. If you have simple web hosting needs, we recommend WebHostingHub. If you require anything other than simple, shared web hosting, we recommend checking out some other companies for your needs.
