Bask offers services to both individuals and businesses, but the company's business side of tech support is done through its partner, Digity. Unfortunately, not much information is given regarding pricing on Digity's website.

24/7 Support

Bask provides 24/7 access to customers over the phone or through live chat on their website.

Good Device Coverage

On the company website, Bask explains that it covers computers, tablets, smartphones, routers, printers, and any device that can access the internet. Low-quality tech support companies won't specify what devices they coverage, and better tech support companies will be more specific on what devices they cover. Bask appears to be one of the latter.

Good Services Coverage

Bask can help customers with:

Computer diagnostics
Virus/malware
Software Installation
Data security

The Bad

No free trial
No data recovery
Missing customer service features

No Free Trial

Some major tech support companies will offer a free trial of their services before customers sign a contract. Unfortunately, Bask does not offer a free trial.

No Data Recovery

Despite Bask's impressive plans, the company does not appear to offer data recovery services. Quality and thorough data recovery is a hallmark of industry-leading tech support companies; few companies offer data recovery, despite the service's steady increase in demand.

Missing Customer Service Features

Bask offers 24/7 phone support, but no live chat or on-site assistance. Although the company claims it's able to resolve most problems remotely, some issues do require an in-person consultation or more hands-on support. The omission of live chat and on-site assistance does limit Bask in its ability to help customers who may need immediate or in-person support.

The Bottom Line

Bask is a reputable company that provides a variety of affordable services for customers on almost any budget. The range of devices covered and services offered are also very impressive, and 24/7 customer support is available through the web or phone. It would be nice if Bask offered a free trial, but considering the array of other services offered, Bask has much more positive than negative going for them.

I have been a client of Bask for over 8 years and currently have 3 computers under contract with them. I have always received prompt service. My computer issues have been resolved quickly with no remedial issues. The monthly fee has great additional services. I would recommend this company to anyone. When it was Itok it was good ! Recently there must have been a change after it went to Bask b/c their present back up system stinks !! We ended up leaving them and using another program b/c their's is so unusable !! Now, the Malwarebytes they install is a nightmare. I know its free but it disappears constantly from the tray and you can't find it to restart it and you end up a half hour on the phone with Bask again, just to have your antivirus working almost every other week, their Trend system was better !! Its so bad they have you run a program to fix it yourself !! It does seem like they have more help now and they try to help you right away as opposed to having to wait hours for someone to call you back for help !!! Signed, Frustrated !!!

When I could finally get tech support it was often good. But after a year and a half of hoping their wait times would improve I am finally quitting. They always say they are having heavy call volume. They say they will call back when a tech is available and often that doesn't happen for a day or two. Also there is no way to talk to customer service or to give feedback. They just don't have good practices for a service organization.

I will tell all my friends not to use this site , I was screwed out of over $300 when I canceled account to due unsatisfactory service after 3 days of trying to get the site to work with no success . Was told I would get a refund , given a refund number but now the company won't pay up .. still fighting for it after 3 months . Linda Gillespie
