Hiring Process

Turing’s hiring process is designed to ensure a high quality/cost ratio and select the best remote software engineers worldwide. The vetting process tests software engineers in three critical areas: technical skill, English skill, and fit for remote work jobs. Companies can screen and hire vetted engineers across 100 plus skills such as React, Python, Golang, Angular, Node, Swift, Java, and more. 

Workspace Software

Once a company has hired a Software Engineer, Turing makes it simple to assign, view, and manage their tasks. Turing explains that the Workspace ensures automatic time tracking and virtual daily standups. Additionally, engineers are matched to your time zone, so there should be fewer 1 a.m. work calls. 

Risk-Free Trial

Turing does its best to match engineers/developers to the right company. If a client company isn’t happy with the matched employee (within the first two weeks), Turing claims they don’t have to pay. 

Turing employees don’t need to stress, though, because Turing states that it always pays developers. Therefore it is risk-free for both companies and developers.

Currently, Turing does not offer to hire freelancers or part-time workers. The company only employs those who are willing to make a full-time commitment. 

Few Entry-Level Positions

Turing may not be the best choice if you’re just starting in the industry. The company doesn’t generally offer entry-level positions. However, if you feel that your skills are sufficient for a job, the company suggests taking the coding challenge. If you do well, Turing may be able to place you.
