Tweriod was started in 2011 and, according to their Twitter account, are currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Consumers simply grant Tweriod access to their Twitter accounts and Tweriod will then email them a report with analytics of up to 1000 of their followers. The report looks overs those followers’ last 200 tweets. Tweriod is best used if combined with the services of Buffer.

The Good

• Free, simple, and straightforward
• FAQ section

Their service is free, simple, and straightforward. When signing up for Tweriod, consumers know exactly what they are getting and what they are not getting. Once a consumers signs up for Tweriod's services with their Twitter credentials, Tweriod will then analyze up to 1000 of their top followers' and their last 200 tweets, and send a detailed report to the Tweriod subscriber. Done. Other than that, Tweriod users are also able to see when their followers are online - this helps them know when the best time to tweet is. They have a FAQ section. Although very small, their FAQ section may be able to answer most questions users may have. If users cannot find the answer to their questions there, they can email Tweriod directly. Unfortunately, they do not provide a phone number or a live chat option.

The Bad

There have been reports claiming that their reports are off. If their reports and analytics are truly ever off, their service renders pointless. They have zero scalability; Tweriod currently only has one employee. This is concerning and may be another reason why there are so many complaints about how their reports take too long to process. Their website has broken links and many spelling errors, which shows a lack of professionalism. Although both their Facebook and Twitter shows that they have many followers, there is very little to no activity between the followers and their page. This is concerning. There isn't a mobile app for iOS or Android. They also only allow one account/page linked to one Tweriod account. Their reports cannot be exported or easily converted to PDF, CSV or Excel files. Their analytics are not necessarily printable, unless you print the email report that they send you. They do not have any additional features. Their primary feature is to analyze your top followers and then send a report on those followers. They do not provide any other services. They do not provide image editing, real time management, or brand monitoring. There is very little to no background information about the company or any of its employees. We have strong reason to believe/claim that they only have one employee who does not disclose his or her name online. Here is a summary of our concerns:

The Bottom Line

It's hard not to recommend a free service to consumers, especially when it is so easy to use and can provide great information. That's exactly what Tweriod does. Tweriod is free to all consumers and they provide quality information to their users. However, they do not do anything else and they do not support any other social media platforms. For that reason, we recommend looking at our top recommended social media tools for better options.
