The Good

• Easy to use

Their services are very basic and easy to use. This is a free way for Twitter and Instagram users to find out more about their followers in general and individually. With SocialRank, users can organize and filter their followers into specific and informative lists and categories. With these lists, users learn who is their most valuable follower, most engaged follower, best follower, and which follower of theirs has the most followers themselves - and all for free. SocialRank's general service is free to the public. Their past service called SocialRank Premium was $25 per month (or $250 per year), and free to Nonprofits. But they recently canceled that service and plan on being another new feature soon. All of their services continue to be free. They have an informative and helpful FAQ section on their website. If consumers cannot find the answer to any of their questions on the FAQ page, they can simply email into SocialRank's customer support. Unfortunately, that is the only way you can reach SocialRank's customer service though.

The Bad

SocialRank has the least amount of experience of the majority of their competitor's. They've been in business for just over a year, having been founded in January of 2014. The only social media platforms they support are Twitter and Instagram. They do not support Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google Plus, and any others. They do not provide real time data management, brand monitoring, image storage or image editing for the social media platforms that they currently do support (Twitter and Instagram). You also can only link up one account and/or page to your SocialRank profile. They currently do not provide consumers with the option to download a mobile app for either iOS or Android. They do not provide printable analytics and reports. However, you can save and export your searches to a CSV file. From there, if wanted, users can print out these searches for events, presentations, or simply for self-education.

The Bottom Line

SocialRank is a good and simple free service to Twitter and Instagram users. If all your looking for is a cheap and easy way to find out a little bit more about your Twitter and Instagram followers, SocialRank is worth checking out. But if you are looking for more out of a social media tool, we recommend checking out our top recommended companies.
