I would give them 0 Stars if at all possible. As with all the other reviewers, this is a not a legitimate Company. They immediately take payment and never send the item(s). I have had to go through my credit card company to get my money back.
Paid for my order and nothing had shown up thirty-five days later. After 2 attempts to reach someone with no response. On the third try I was able to reach someone via Chat who told me "It was my problem."
As with the others here. I paid for and waited and received nothing. Avoid the problems. Purchase elsewhere.
There is NO Customer Service except by Chat or by contacting them online. And those contacts are useless.

Like everyone else has stated on here...HORRIBLE customer service . I placed an order 2.5 weeks ago for a dinnerware set that was supposed to ship a week ago and never got a shipping confirmation. After "looking into it" they told me the item was actually out of stock now and wouldn't ship for another month. I asked them if it was possible for me to change to a different color that was currently in stock so I wouldn't have to wait over a month to receive my order. They told me it was impossible and my only option was to cancel or wait. I asked if I could instead cancel my order and re-place it for another color but have them honor the discount I received on the original order, and they also told me this was also impossible as there wasn't any "similar discounts available to be applied at the time".
I'm sorry...but as customer service do you not have any control over offering temporary/one time use discount codes or just refunding me the difference?? His solution for my "inconvenience" was to give me a $10 site credit which is a JOKE since anybody can get a $10 credit simply for entering their email on the website.
Do not waste your time or your money on this company. They are literally riding off their social media success to sell 3rd party goods that you will probably never receive with literally the worst possible customer service I've ever encountered. If I could give them -5 stars, I would. Also, any company that doesn't offer a customer service phone number is a HUGE red flag because good luck to anyone trying to resolve an issue.

12/14: Ordered Christmas gift for my spouse because site advertised "guaranteed by 12/22" Paid, $9.00 for shipping instead of using Prime from Amazon.
12/22: No tracking number received. Emailed customer support asking if I need to plan ahead and buy another gift. (I was not angry and was looking for transparency).
12/23: Got a response saying " Thanks for following up, and apologies again for the wait! We’ve confirmed with our team that they've experienced some processing and scan delays, but the good news is if it isn’t already, your items should be on the way to you by the end of the day tomorrow (12/24)."
12/25: Still no package. No shipping number. I e-mailed again
12/28: No reply. I understood that it was Christmas holiday but 3 days of no response when most retail is already back at work?!?!
12/29: Got reply. Tracking number and $10 credit... I paid $9 for shipping and I essentially get shipping refunded for false advertising and missing Christmas
12/30: Package arrived. Box is half open and damaged. I notified customer service.
1/4: No feedback. I decided to file a return.
1/5: Customer service says okay but not willing to refund $9.00 shipping and takes away the $10.00 credit...

Do not trust that anything on the site is actually in stock. You will receive NO NOTICE your item is out of stock when you place the order, the next day or even days later when they ship something you did not order. When you contact them to point that out the mistake ONLY THEN they will let you know the item is no longer in stock. They seem to find this practice acceptable, I do not. I don't expect they will change anything but this is the reason I will never recommend them to anyone for anything. Item ordered was a time sensitive gift and now I'm left with nothing but the wrong thing and no way to get what I was promised when I trusted them with the order.

After purchasing an item I TRIED to cancel the purchase 4 days before it was to be shipped. UNABLE to reach anyone to cancel, many attempts. After it was received, Food52 contacted to return it as not was not what I wanted. It took about a week before a response was received and a return shipping label was finally received. It was packaged and sent back for credit. FOOD52 CHARGED $9 FOR SHIPPING item TO ME AND CHARGED ME 14.90 TO SHIP THE ITEM BACK. THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR SHIPPING ITEM BACK. ALSO DISAPPOINTED THAT my ATTEMPT TO CANCEL ITEM BEFORE SHIPPING FAILED. I was UNABLE TO REACH THEM BY PHONE. DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE ... AMAZON AND MOST OTHER INTERNET SALES SITES FAR BETTER TO DEAL WITH.

I ordered from them online but had a problem with my order (I entered the wrong ship-to address for a wedding gift I was trying to buy. I keep sending them an e-mail asking for a change of address and to even learn if my order has shipped...but they keep sending me the same standard message saying they have put my order on hold. THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER so it is impossible to talk to anyone. They are not backing up what they are doing and are demonstrating absolutely no response other than their standard e-mail responses. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM SUCH AN INCOMPETENT COMPANY AGAIN AND ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO EITHER!

They are overpriced--ridiculously so. Additionally, I was considering making a purchase (until I saw the absurd shipping price), and of course, I had the item in the site's cart. I decided not to purchase because I found the exact same item from the same company on Amazon. However, when I was examining my bank account, I noticed that they had attached an authorization for $1.00, despite the fact that I hadn't actually checked out. I didn't like that at all. A little overeager in my opinion. They have beautiful items and a gorgeous website, but I will never buy anything from them (or dare to put an item in my cart) after that premature authorization. I did not give them permission to be in my account. I did not complete the check out process, and yet, there they were, hanging out in my bank account. Just be aware that they will do this--whether or not you actually check out.

Zero stars if I could give it. Melissa L. is not nice. Just like others, I was burned by their horrible condescending customer service and return policy. Why would I keep store credit with them if I want nothing they are selling? I returned a griddle. I wanted to exchange it for another. They are pricier then when you buy it from the original seller. Ask for free shipping they say that the griddle that is $149 has a $40 shipping. They since changed it to $5 after I mentioned to the merchant about it. I was a helpful customer. I’m no longer going to use this site for anything. BUYER BEWARE. They will keep your money purgatory or perpetuity.

I have been a customer here for years as long as you are not returning anything the customer service is not bad. BUT WAIT ! If you need you r money back you have a problem. This horrible company will do anything to not accommodate you in any way. I have been waiting for my money for weeks. The run around is ridiculous and the promises are lies. DO NOT SHOP HERE there are plenty of lovely stores on line that have actual PHONE NUMBERS and return or exchange with ease and in a very timely manner!!

Horrible. Placed my order and they charged my credit card immediately. I ordered in November for a Christmas gift which never shipped. No way to get in contact with them. My credit card company gave me a number to get in contact with them but it was not actually a phone number for service but to say send an email. We are working with my credit card company to dispute the charges. A terrible experience. Do not use this company.

Ordered a $200.00 skillet on 3/23, credit card charged same day. After several e-mail exchanges with "customer service" rep I was assured the item was to be on the way shortly. Order was cancelled today, 6/8 and a full refund issued. Sorriest on-line transaction ever. Charged my card on day of order for merchandise they never had and couldn't produce. Unforgiveable business model !! Be advised !!!!

Ordered a holiday present on Dec 13th. It never arrived for Christmas. Never received any update from the company about when it might arrive ( was supposed to ship on 12/18). I sent a note, took nearly 5 days to hear back. I wrote twice to cancel the order. It is now 1/4 and it still never shipped. They keep blaming vendor but vendor specifically said it is Food 52 responsibility. I was able to order the same thing at Bloomingdales and it shipped and arrived in 4 days. Now they say they won't cancel or refund my order?! Slowest/worst customer service.

First, and most notably, there is no Contact number for customer service related problems. They earn most of the their money through online retail and yet, you can't contact anyone about their merchandise. I also, wrote to the customer department to start a return, and have never heard back from them regarding this matter. After multiple attempts, someone finally sent me a return slip, however it comes at the cost of the buyer. GIANT EYE ROLL! Embarrassing for a company based in NYC!

I purchased GreenPan cookware from this company. The product did not perform as advertised. I wanted to leave a review was not allowed bc I had not created a login. I also asked for a refund. All I received was advice on how to care for the pans. Could not get anyone to address my request. Their customer service is horrible and I'm stuck with 2 lousy sticky non tick pans, Will never buy from ths website again

Horrible customer service. No phone number to call to discuss issues with an order that never shipped until I finally reached someone through a text service that operates few hours a day and not on weekends. Once my item finally shipped it arrived incomplete. For such a beautiful site with nice items they really do not offer a nice shopping experience. If I could give zero stars I would. I will never purchase from them again.

The worst quality products and customer service. I have been trying to get a refund on crappy broken goods for weeks and we just keep writing back and forth, "take more photos", "we have to go back to the people that made it... They don't stand by their products and then wear you out with emails until you give up. Don't buy anything from these crooks!

Ordered plates from Food52, I was sent the incorrect plates-- like other reviewers, was asked to take pictures of the incorrect shipment and document it. While replacements were sent in a timely manner, I am still awaiting a return shipment label and have reached out 3x over the past 2 weeks. Given their terrible customer service, poor return policy-- I will never use them again and would warn others off.

If there was an option to give Food52 a ZERO star rating I would have. Terrible return policy in addition to pathetic customer service. I 100% regret having bought anything from their website. My item came damaged. When I emailed them about this they asked me to take a video of the item and to show them how I was using it in order to see if an exchange was warranted!!! Not only were they being difficult but condescending.

Tried for two days to buy a wedding gift for a friend. A credit card that work on every other site did not work on this site. No only did this cost a lost of my business for this company our friends miss out in receiving a beautiful gift from us. Please add a phone number we can call so that when you r poorly designed website has a glitch it can be fixed. Will never shop here again or suggest any of my many friends use you as part of their registry or shop with you.

I purchased a wreath, which was way over priced, since what I received was a few branches and a couple flowers. Misrepresented the product!
I contacted customer service and included photos, but they did not agree to a refund. Very disappointing response and I will not use or recommend this company in the future.

They have a difficult return policy - customer pays return shipping and there is a restocking fee plus no refunds to the original form of payment but they give you a store credit. I would suggest shopping elsewhere since most websites offer a more customer friendly return policy.

Very slow delivery - from order to delivery can be two weeks or more, with very expensive shipping. It can take 5 days for Food52 to forward the order to the actual company selling the item. Then shipping is another 8-9 days. Food52 marks up the products they sell, at higher prices than other websites.

bought a product ( Zwilling Fresh & Save Food Vacuum Sealing System ) and when I needed additional bags/containers... NO ONE knew how to or where to get them....Now there is a scam of a company if I ever witnessed.
