Potential customers can try out IDZlink's POS software for one month — IDZlink makes the deal even better by letting users sign up for the trial without entering their credit card information. We recommend you take advantage of this to see if this POS service will provide you with the features your business needs.
The Bad
- Lack of Detailed Information
Lack of Detailed Information
Overall, IDZlink's website feels as if it's lacking detailed information. There is no shortage of generic information about the point of sale system and how it can help your business. Still, if you expect to get the nitty-gritty details about the software or products, you will be disappointed.
For example, the hardware page on the IDZlink website shows several products that are recommended to use alongside your POS. However, the site is extremely vague. IDZlink shows items such as a USB receipt printer, USB scanner, cash drawer, LAN receipt printer, etc., but that's it. You cannot click on the products to learn more, view pricing, or see the specs.
IDZlink encourages consumers to call and speak with one of its product experts, which may be a good solution to the website's lack of information, but it is an extra step you'll have to take. In contrast, other POS companies will provide this information upfront.
The Bottom Line
While we recommend contacting the company for more information about products, pricing, and contracts, IDZlink appears to be a reliable cloud-based POS software. The software offers a variety of features that are helpful to anyone running a retail business. If you're interested, IDZlink offers a free trial, where you can test out everything it has to offer and decide whether or not it's a good fit.
