The Good

• Search options
• Exclusions

We liked the different search options available to users. For example, we found that the Reverse Number Search was a great way to find a phone number and link that number to a particular person. There is also a social security number search on the site. You can use this to do basic background checks, but it is available for the premium fee. We also like that Zabasearch has free exclusion options. If you have a sensitive government job, you will be able to block your information for free.

The Bad

• Message tool
• Parent company

There is a message search option on Zabasearch, but we found this search tool to be essentially worthless. When typing in names of people, we found that it often turned up spam messages and other guest book and messages from around the Internet. We don't like that to get a background check on someone, you have to use Zabasearch's parent company, Intelius. We will discuss Intelius' prices later in the review.

The Bottom Line

We don't recommend Zabasearch. They only offer minimal features. It's fine for doing basic searches of IP addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, and names. One of the search options that we found unique was Zabasphere. You can create an account and keep track of people who are searching for you on the web. This service is totally free and can help users keep track of who is looking for them on the Internet. However, it still lacks many of other features competing companies have.
