Covenant Eyes

Covenant Eyes was created as an “Internet Screen Accountability” software for people to protect themselves and their loved ones against harmful online content, specifically pornography and sex trafficking. Ron Dehaas founded Covenant Eyes in 2000 and since then has conducted more than 1.5 million hours of combating pornography and sex trafficking. The company is located in Owosso, Michigan.

Covenant Eyes works to protect online users as well as encourage accountability. The company offers individual services as well as larger-scale solutions for churches that include a digital health assessment for a customized solution and roadmap to determine specific actions you can take to protect your church against online threats. You can book a meeting with a Covenant Eyes consultant online to get started, and the company offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all its services.

Covenant Eyes offers the following:

• Screen monitoring technology that regularly takes screenshots of screen activity and stores the images on your device.
• Screenshot analysis technology that uses AI to analyze the screenshots for explicit imagery.
• Screenshot processing technology that blurs out any explicit images.
• Activity reporting that gives the user and an additional chosen “ally” a record of concerning activity.
• Add-on services that you can include to your plan, including porn blocking and Safe Search. (Safe Search blocks explicit images, videos, and websites from your search browser and is compatible with Google, Bing, and YouTube.)

Covenant Eyes’ Screen Accountability™ software is available for Windows (7+, 64-bit) and Mac (10.10+) as well as Android (5.1+) and iOS (11+) devices. Covenant Eyes’ software is not available on Chromebook or Kindle Fire.
