The Bad

• No free trial
• Free download
• No full version for Apple products

BullGuard does not offer a free trial with their mobile service, although you can download the app free in the GooglePlay store. Security for iOS phones is very limited. If you download a BullGuard app for an iPhone most features just include basic backup, contact protection, and app scanning.  Other than that the full version of BullGuard is still being beta tested and is only available for phones outside the Apple Products. The Spam-Filter and Firewall features are not available for Android or Blackberry phones.

The Bottom Line

BullGuard has been in business now for 12 years and has been offering customizable tools to mobile users everywhere. Though you may have to pay to use the service from the start, most other companies end up charging more than the standard rate with BullGuard. BullGuard has been AV Test Certified and offers consistent service for an affordable price. If you have kids BullGuard is a great way to monitor activity on their phones keeping your family more safe. You can even monitor text message and photos remotely with this application.
