One of my favorite things about Ulta is that they occasionally offer a 20% off site-wide discount. This adds up to a lot of money if you regularly use a lot of prestige brands of beauty products. My only complaint is that they used to offer this twice per year, but now only offer in once per year:(

ULTA was a very lit up makeup store showcasing each and every makeup product on its own case. They had every shades of lip stick that fits different people. They also have different bronzers and contours that fits people skin tones. The only reason that they don't get a full five stars from me is because of how long their lines are. They should have multiple workers there helping check out people and not just one women checking people out as fast as she could.

I bought a serum for skincare called The Ordinary recommended by many famous Youtubers, a tarte shape tape concealer, and an eyelash serum. The concealer does help conceal any blemishes, and the eyelash serum did help grow my eyelashes. The serum helped my skin at first, but they started to irritate. ULTA did have a good shipping and products came in good condition.

What I love about ULTA is that you can get designer brand makeup without the high mark ups that you see in other cosmetic stores. I like it because it's not intimidating, but there are still make up experts to help me find what I'm looking for. I've had good experiences getting good foundation and eyeliner and I just like that it's a good experience, without the pressure of being in a super fancy make-up story.

From memory, I have never had a bad experience at Ulta. All employees are pleasant and helpful. It's great that you can return products that didn't work for you, and get all your money back. They also have a decent rewards program. I enjoy their mobile app, because it notifies me of deals they're having that specific day.

If you order online you run the risk of your package being left anywhere the delivery company deems ok, even if it is a n apartment complex, wheee it can be taken by anybody. I live in apt complex that has a delivery hub to prevent this, however it was dropped in the foyer where there is no security.. And because of this the package is gone, however not their problem, can you imagine if the post office did the same with your mail.. Ulta doesn’t deem it suffient, so not only do I need to pay for what I didn’t get, if I want it, I need to buy it again.. Never order from them, they contracted the cheapest delivery company and we pay the price

I am very unhappy right now. I have spent so much money at ulta and I recently moved. I made an order online but forgot to change my address. After realizing this 10 minutes after I made the order I called ulta. They told me they could cancel the order since it hadn't shipped yet. The next day I got 2 emails 1 for telling me they couldn't cancel the order and the 2nd email saying they shipped the order to the old address. After a few days of not recieving the order. I called ulta again. They said they didn't receive the package back so there was nothing they could do to help me. They told me if I still wanted the items to buy them again. I will think twice before buying from them again. I used to buy a lot not anymore. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Just checked the status of my order. A delivery was not even attempted and never received any communication from Ulta...just says returned to sender. My address is correct and I have received package no problem from Ulta in the past. My last three online orders have have the same return to sender without any communication. This is not the kind of service I expect for a Diamond status client. I don’t want my goods returned and I don’t want a refund to pacify my aggregation. Why can’t my goods, that I have paid for, be sent to my local store for my pickup if Ulta can’t follow through on their end of the deal? Shame on you Ulta for such poor service. Sephora is calling my name.

Wish I could give it zero stars. But I went there with my friend and it took us around an hour to find someone to help us, and this other customer came with us and also said she's been looking for around 20 minutes to find someone on the floor. And I needed help looking for something that states on the website its also in stores at my location but noone knew about. And then to make it worse my friebd had bought something and they didn't tell her about change or give her her chance back and she just looked at the receipt and they owed her around 10$ in change. I'm sorry but if it's like a dollar or two or a couple of cents that's fine but 10$ I believe that's unacceptable.

Re: website purchase and decision to exclusively patronize Sephora. I made a purchase online at/around 240p. Contacted Ulta immediately after purchase (so within 5min?) and was told they 'couldn't stop the package as they're so committed to rapid service'. So-much-knowing-baloney ... My tracking data shows I won't receive package for nine business days (for $8+ s/h between NJ to PA. what a joke). Also: Ulta refused to retroactively apply coupon (by 5min). So peace out Ulta: the only thing that distinguishes you from Sephora, Macys, or even CVS is customer service. I may only spend $30-50 in any month but am confident Sephora and CVS will be happy to take it (as both have offered excellent customer service to me in the past for the *same* products and both have beauty rewards program and regular coupons).

I can honestly say that I have spent hundreds of dollars every year at Ulta! I buy everything from them to body wash, razors, shampoo, makeup, hairbrushes, hair dryers, curling wands, SugarBearHair products, etc... I have always LOVED Ulta! I will not longer be shopping there. I had been shipped a package, and my package was lost. Ulta refuses to spend another package, or refund my money. I will never shop here again! I will be going to Sephora from now on!

I stuck with one order with Ulta for a month. They have been keep cancelling my order. Everytime they cancel my order, I have to wait many days to get my refund. Everytime I call, it was "the worst" customer service. I have been calling to ulta for a month. The operators don't really know what s going on. The reason my of my cancellation was that it was big order and ULTA cant deliver more than 10 items. But until I found out it, the operators were giving me wrong information that I had to go to my bank, change my information etc., And the last operator who gave me the "right" information about my cancelled order was rude as well. I asked about my refund, and ULTA sent me email that my order has been cancelled and my refund will be in next 9 days, so i asked the operator if there is anything that i can do to make this process faster. Because i had big order and still have to ship it to overseas, which should have been done a month ago. And the girl keep telling me that they didnt send any email and she cant find any email that says refund in 9 days. I asked her if i should forward the email to her email so she can see, but she keep ignoring my questions and didnt help at all. And any other operators until her was the worst worst that gave me false information and kept my money for a month. I still didnt get any refund for my order, and they informed me i cant fulfill my order online. Dont know what to say. I lost money because of their irresponsibility and FAKE service.

I recently moved so when I went to place my order at ULTA, I updated my address. I deleted my old address, and put in my new address. However, after I placed my order the confirmation email included my old address. So I called customer services, literally not TWO minutes after placing the order and they told me there was nothing they could do. NOTHING THEY COULD DO!?! They couldn't cancel the my order, the couldn't update my address. So basically the only option was for me to re-order. It is absolutely ridiculous that there is not some way for them to update an address or cancel an order TWO minutes after it is placed. I will not be ordering from them again.

I’m really not happy somehow my address was wrong when I checked it before confirming and my phone also auto fills my addresss and it’s not wrong I just tried it again and it’s working properly so somehow someone got the wrong address and now I don’t get my gift because you can’t resend it out. I find that hard to believe. You’re a multi-million dollar company and you resend gifts to people. That’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard. And that’s not okay. Then I call and you don’t have a supervisor available to talk there should always be one on a shift ... I’m not happy at all

This visit to my favorite store today was the most embarrassing. I enter the store per usual, to purchase my $30 shampoo, $30 conditioner, $28 blow dry treatment and a $30 brush, like I do every three weeks. There is a sign that says buy two get one free, so I stock up. When I get to register the sales representative tells me I am wrong and that they normally put promotional signs in front of products that are not pertaining to. This is the second time this has happened this month, I ask which products are by two get one, no one knows. Usually the service here is exceptional. Quite disappointed...

I recently made a purchase on 1/21/19 at 728pm. However, the shipping address was wrong. So I called within 15 minutes of the purchase to change the address. However, I was told that you guys are unable to change the address or cancel the order. I called again and they advised me to either call the postal service or my bank to cancel the order. When I called the post service, they said they can't change the address and I would have to call ULTA for any changes. The package has been delivered to the wrong address and it was taken by someone other than myself. I have contacted customer service again and they told me that they can't refund me the money for human error of putting in the wrong address even though I told them that i have called multiple times to guest service but they keep saying they can't do anything. I have been ordering from you guys via in-store or online for a few years now. I have never run into a problem like this before. I didn’t think you would treat your customers this way. You are stealing money from people who have made a human error on the internet. I can’t believe this is what your company stand for. I have never experienced an online order where I can’t edit within 15 mins. Instead of helping me, you want to steal my money.

Burlison store are returned a product that was defective I had the original receipt it was within 30 days of the original purchase they would not credit my debit card back and instead gave me An in-store credit. I went back in and show them my receipt again showing I paid with my debit card and they said there was nothing they could do I reported this to Customer Service last week and was told that within 72 hours I would get a call from the store I have heard nothing from anyone since. Today my good friend went in to get a facial for her baby shower she had an appointment and was never saying and was also to Told that the store manager would call her and she had heard nothing either anyway your Burleson store has a problem and there’s many complaints on Facebook about the store and I love auto and have been with y’all many years and I’m only a platinum member and that’s not much but I’m going to be no member at all if this is not straightened out and I don’t believe I’m the only one

I frequent the Ulta at Renton landing and Factoria and always receive exceptional customer service. I was in Factoria location on 1/2 and was looking for the revlon 3 in 1 styler. They did not have it and took the time to call around. It showed the Ulta at crossroads in Bellevue had 3 in stock. The manager at Factoria called to have the item placed on hold. She had to coach the associate on the phone b/c she claimed they had it without looking first and was argumentative with the manager from Factoria. After about 10 min the associate went to the sales floor and said she got one and placed it on hold for me. On 1/3 I went to the Ulta at crossroads to pick up my item. I was greeted, I told the gentleman what I was here for he said he had to get a manager. She said well it’s not on the counter so I don’t know but I have one in the back and left. 20 minutes later I was approached by the cashier asking what I was looking for or if I had been helped. I told her someone went to go get my hold for me. She walkied her team and she said I don’t know what your looking for did you check the sales floor for one. I had. She then made me go take a picture of the item, she went to the back and told me she didn’t know what happened yesterday because she didn’t work and she assumed they must have been busy and sold them all... I was then sent on my way with no apology, no customer service, and no effort on there part to resolve the problem, or attempt to order me the item! The manager never came back! I have never experienced that horrible of customer service in my life! I have been a manager in retail for 9 years and was truly appalled at how poorly I was treated and how poorly other guests were treated in my observations while I was waiting 20 minutes. Some of the encounters that I witnessed as a manager is customer service were honestly cringe worthy. Like I said this was the Ulta at crossroads in Bellevue on 1/3 at approximately 1:15 pm.
