Stila Cosmetics was founded in 1994 by the celebrity makeup artist Jeanine Lobell. Throughout the years, Stila has kept up with the ever-changing beauty trends and continues to create modern and sophisticated products that appeal to everyone.

Stila creates and sells a variety of makeup products. Shoppers and makeup enthusiasts can easily find products for their complexion, lips, eyes, brows, and more. Stila also sells accessories. While the selection isn’t the largest we’ve seen, there are several different types of brushes and applicators for you to choose from.

If you spend over $50 on Stila products, you get free ground shipping — no code necessary.
However, if you spend less than $50, you’ll pay $5.95 for standard ground shipping; this shipping price is on par with most other makeup companies.
Most orders are processed and shipped in three to five business days; however, it really depends on the product availability. That being said, Stila predicts that most consumers can expect their orders to be delivered within 7 to 10 business days from their order’s ship date.
Currently, Stila Cosmetics does not ship anywhere outside of the United States.
Tutorials
On the company website and its social media platforms, Stila includes numerous makeup tutorials. The tutorials are an excellent addition as it shows how to use the products properly and gives consumers some new ideas on how to wear the makeup or change up their look.
Sales
Shoppers should take advantage of the Sale page on Stila’s website. Although Stila isn’t outrageously expensive — especially when compared to other name brand stores — its products cost more than what you’ll find at your local grocery store.
The products that are on sale change every few weeks or so. If the product you want isn’t on sale at the moment, just give it some time. It is important to know that anything you buy on sale is non-refundable or exchangeable.

As of January 2021, Stila Cosmetics does not have a customer rewards program. The company states that one is coming soon, but there is no mention of when that will happen.
Shorter Return Window
Stila allows consumers to return regular priced items within 30 days of the purchase date. While this is a decent amount of time, many of Stila’s competitors give consumers at least 60 days to return items.
The Bottom Line
Since its start in 1994, Stila products have lasted through several beauty trends. The company is well-known for its modern, sophisticated, and approachable strategy to beauty.
We appreciate the fact that Stila creates and sells incredibly versatile products. The products are affordable but still high quality, making them the perfect choice for makeup moguls and everyday makeup wearers.
One drawback of shopping with Stila is the fact that there is no customer rewards program. While many customers may be loyal to the brand and want to purchase more, it can be challenging to choose Stila over other companies since there is little benefit to shopping with them. Other makeup companies draw in customers by giving them points, allowing them to use those points for free samples, free products, or saving some money. Stila is currently planning on implementing a rewards program, but there is no mention of when that will happen.
