The people working for Verizon are MORONS and the company is a piece of garbage. Apart for providing sub-par service and junky equipment while charging you an arm and a leg for it all, they cannot even perform a simple task as qualifying a new construction home in a new development for service. We purchased a new construction home in a new development. Three weeks ago I called Verizon Fios to ask them to find out of our new construction home in a new development qualifies for service. After being on the phone for an hour with some idiot guy, he says to me I am all set and yes my property does qualify for service at which point we scheduled an installation. Yesterday was the day of installation. I took the full day off (I get paid by the hour not salary) cause they said installation on a home that has never had Verizon could take between 4 to 6 hours. That's all fine and dandy. The Verizon contractor comes by on time and the poor guy was on the phone for an hour with Verizon reps and looking around the property in the heavy rain so he figure things out. Finally he tells me he cannot install Verizon Fios on my property because Verizon never installed any fiber optic cables in this new development and therefore my property should have never been qualified for service. I am done with these idiots. Bad service, bad equipment and completely incompetent customer service people. What a waste of time and money. You guys are absolutely pathetic to have customer service reps lie to customers about qualifying a property like that. And yet that Verizon Fios rep that set my appointment and lied to me about my property qualification is still employed by Verizon and he will make the same mistakes on other poor customers. Pathetic!!! You are not even worth one star!!!

FIOS used to be my favorite internet provider. Was the first company to lay fiber in the area and had unbeatable speeds. Since then other companies seem to offer more reliable and cost effective offers. That said I hop around between servicers to keep the promo/new customer discounts

Fastest internet I've ever had. The only issue is you need to have a special set up to even access it. I was living in NYC (BK specifically) and moved into a new building that allowed for it. It's expensive but in my opinion worth it.

I have a Verizon phone and happy with it. I tried to get FIOS Internet but it is not available in my area yet, nor is their 5G. Verizon has quality products, their customer service could be better though. I rarely had billing issues and have been with them for many years.

We have used Verizon FIOS for years, the customer service is fantastic and the internet speed is unmatched. They dispatched a repair tech the SAME DAY the only time we had an issue.

I have been a FIOS customer since it's inception. The reliability is great the TV package offers everything you could ever want. I do feel the rates for services to be rather high though in line with competitors. Customer service is a recorded voice prompt, or someone in a call center outside the United states

Verizon has always given my family and I great service. We have reliable wifi and a good rate with premium channels. I wish the extra boxes weren't as much extra, but we only need 2 with others being smart TVs.

Great service, great customer service. Adding boxes is easy, multiple options to pick up at locations, ship, etc. Canceling boxes was also easy. No outages or other service issues.

I am a verizon fios customer for more than a years at the beginning I had no issues it was good. However, for the past three months I been having issues with the Internet dropping signal. I am paying for a gig bite of Internet speed so it shouldn’t be dropping signal or slowing down. I contact customer service a few times and every time I call is the same they said there’s no issues with my Internet. And I have to stay with them for another year because I have a two year contract

I use Verizon for home internet access. The speeds are good but the customer service is not. It is often hard to get support for questions from a live person - you have to try and find the information yourself which can be very hard. I also do not like how it is very hard to get a good router other than the one they sell. I have had issues with the router dropping service now and again. Still the speed is quite good.

We changed from Comcast to Verizion FIOS and have been extremely happy. There has been no internet issues in the last year at all with them. The service is reliable and the internet has been very fast.

Great internet service. It is fast and reliable. I do wish though that they wouldn't raise the price on me after a year, being a loyal customer, I hope they would better honor that.

I grew up with Comcast which was good but pricey. FiOS absolutely crushes Xfinity in terms of cost and speed. This would be 5 stars but the tech didn't have the time to add any hardwired connections because he was overbooked for the day. So now we have lovely GB internet in our basement... when all of our rooms are on the second floor.

I have been very pleased with Verizon and the service we have been given. There have been several times when I needed assistance with up-grading or adding to my plan and every time I was well taken care of. Sales people have been very helpful by offer options that are helpful to my situation.

My family has always used Verizon for our service because it has never done us wrong. The prices are good for the quality of internet we are getting. I'd rather have the best quality internet and pay just a few dollars more.

Verizon has served me well, I often have service when other friends of mine do not. Great customer service and help is available across the country. Only downside is that it can be pricey getting service abroad.

Absolutely terrible service. WIFI goes down daily. Brand new router. Trash. Last router was trash and was extremely slow. Got a new router and it constantly turns off throughout the day and or I can never connect to it. Been like this for a couple years still not fixed. Verizon has been contacted multiple times and no fix has been provided. Paying money for GARBAGE service. Absolutely not worth. Stay clear from FIOS. Not worth a cent. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Verizon price are so high even during a pandemic the cost of service is outrageous. The average price for internet + TV and Phone service is $276.00 Most consumers think Verizon cost too much and charge for everything.

Switched to Verizon. 3+ hours to hook up. No TV or internet within 12 hours. Took 2 days to come and fix. After fixed worked for 28 hours then I spent 1 1/2 hours on phone trying to reach customer service, without ever speaking to a person. Finally reached them to disconnect. Worst TV , internet and customer service I have ever experienced. Would never use them again.

The service is good compared to the competitor from my experience . However , the customer service is horrible . I was on the phone with an agent trying to return back , just because I questioned him about the price that guy became so rude , arrogantt . Who cares about how long you daily spend doing your job ? IFortunately I haven't disconnected my service yet with Xfinity . Thank you Verizon !

Verizon is horrific. They selectively honor their service appointments. If you’re Caucasian, you’re set. If you’re not, it doesn’t matter if you’re educated and an American citizen, your out of luck. I waited 12 hours for a tech today and when it came to honoring my appointment, the tech went home because he was over worked while another tech didn’t want the overtime and had to go home at 4:43 pm.

Verizon finds a way to raise my bill every month. No explanation, no warning, just bumping my cost every month. It would be nice if Verizon explained during the sales and signup process that they are going to raise my rates every month and at every opportunity, but of course that would require integrity and why ruin a good sales pitch with honesty.

The internet has been just ok, slows down alot when there are many users. The modem is old, but to get an new one costs $$$$. They can improve by keeping older equipment up to date without a hefty charge.

Customer service is shoddy...cannot find records of what was agreed to even tho the material was available on two other occasions to reps. Now being overcharged by 30.00 monthly. Verizon has zero respect for long term customers. Stay far away if at all possible. Cancellation would not cost me 200.00...I suspect I can cover that with a new provider.

WiFi needs resest more than it should have to be. I do not like the rebuffering when streaming shows in the evenings. I feel I pay for 1 gig I should ALWAYS have 1 gig day or night.

The service is reliable and fast enough. My only complaint is that there is a limit on the amount of data and there are some things (like watching videos) that I can't do because of the limit.

Switch and bait tactics, they send you an offer in the mail that looks appealing, After you switch to their services they change the plan on you and put you on a more expensive plan. After several months I still have to keep calling them and spending over 45 minutes on the phone with them and they still don't get it right so if you want to be calling and getting stressed out during every call then go ahead and get Fios. I personally wouldn't ever recommend them unfortunately I am stuck with them for two a two year contract at end I will definitely look for another provider.

If I can give it a zero I would. Can’t trust Verizon. They lied to me and told me I would have high Speed internet in my area. My internet was super slow. I only have them for two days after canceling my service. They told me my bill would be 40 dollars are it turns out my bill was 100 dollars just for having them for two days.then they sent my bill to collections the next month and affected my good credit.

We have had Verizon Fios for many years. Had a couple of problems, but they were quick to fix them. The reason for four stars is because they do not offer any specials for loyal customers.

Spotty connection, dropped WiFi connection, dropped calls, lost texts that never reach destinations. I used multiple devices with same effect. When it actually works it’s fast but what good is a race car if it only works a fourth of the time.

Verizon Fios Internet is very high speed when there aren't too many devices using up the bandwidth. I love this internet service. However, I do think it is a little pricey, but I guess it can't be helped.

Well, I don’t like having to pay them to pay my bill. Their billing websites seldom if at all work for me, thus I’m in an “unwanted “ paying situation. These guys need to get people back to work, and fix their Verizon.com pay sites. It don’t work for me!

Internet speeds are fast which is why we chose them. They need to offer better package options for TV, internet and phone. Their customer service greatly depends on who answers the phone. Some agents are great but others are less helpful.

We've had Fios for years and it's a bit disappointing when your Wifi service doesn't extend throughout your entire townhouse. We have our router placed as central as possible on our middle floor, and we still can't get wifi in our bedroom. Really - is an extender needed for approximately 1800 sqft? Apparently.
