No customer service, had to wait like 3 months to replace my vdr, complicated set up, nearly impossible to get somebody to talk about issues. Don't waist your money, look around for another brand.this people should be investigated for fraud.???

While the cameras and recording device were of good quality the zigbee devices had a lot of trouble pairing even with their $50 zigbee range extender (recommended by their help desk). The extrnal siren is not loud enough. The app would also not connect at random times to arm/disarm the system. Highly not recommend buying a Swann security package

God awful company. Site registration wouldn't work so I couldn't register the camera. Called and they said they'd fix my account and get back to me within 24-48 hours. Week later still no call back or anything. Just returned it and got a camera from another company that was no hassle hooked it up in 10 minutes. Site is crap, service is crap.

The customer service of this company is horrible,Have called four times for an ongoing issue regarding camera system. They keep stating a specialist will contact me. Never receive a call back. Entry level technical support personnel are totally useless.

Just Crap

I have been contacting Swann for over a week now. They won't help me. I purchased a 4-Camera Swann Compact Security System. I keep getting errors and they won't help me. It is not a DIY system if they do not provide ALL of the instructions you need and they won't help you. It sucks I will not purchase from them again.

Battery sucks. Charging Alert suck. Solar panel aluminum material part easy breakable, so it also sucks. Support guarantee sucks. Could I get my money back? Just a normal computer web cam plus a linux kernel.

I agree with the other ratings of one star. This product is horrible - non-intuitive, will not work via wifi, remote viewing is 'zero' viewing. I am out $1395 that included installation and it was an expensive mistake.

over a long period I have had numerous problems with remote viewing via their DDNS site which does not always update the ip address. Tech support is useless both in the uk and usa

Sold me on a motion detecting system. Install the system and the motion detecting that supposed to be in the System is not compatible with the app . DONT BUY. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE AT BEST.

Out of the box hasn't looked like operating. Called Swann service/customer support, was told to download an app that doesn't open up on a MAC. Will be seeking money back. Expensive decoration on outside of house!!!!!!

Purchased a Swann "security in a box" from WalMart yesterday. Could not get the cameras powered up. Tried different cables/monitors...no luck. After a day of trial and error, I phoned customer service. After a half hour on hold, I was connected to some who either had a poor connection/phone, or a speech impediment. I asked if he could get a better connection. The only word I understood was "no". Evidently a very poor attempt at quality control, followed by horrible customer service. WalMart has wasted their time marketing this product. They will get it back within 24 hours.
