It actually felt pretty personal, I was talking to someone the entire time, he kept me posted on all the stages, and there were a lot of moving parts. He kept me updated, called me regularly to give me updates, etc. I would highly recommend trying to work with Sean from the claims team, he was really great to work with. Recommend forsure

Great and fairly inexpensive. My only concern is what would happen if I needed to file a claim. I have never done so with Lemonade, but if it is anything like the other tech insurance companies then it will be a nightmare. However, I have not had a claim experience with the business and have been happy paying my 20 bucks a month for renters insurance. Now, we are with another company as we got a really good offer with our auto policy. I would say that Lemondae is definitely an affordable option though

No insurance company wants to pay out for damages in your home and it’s obvious that after the second claim you guys were tired of me. I didn’t ask for the damages to happen. I would have liked to feel more supported by Bobbe my claims specialist. They didn’t pay out what they were supposed to. My first claim was with Maya and she was great and I felt supported through the process. Nobody wants their house to fall a part it felt nice they someone actually cared.

Agents are very friendly (both email and by phone). The mobile bot that they force you to use is kind of useless and can't answer any actual questions. I've only filed one claim with them but it took forever to move forward, so that might be something to be aware of. However, my experience has been largely positive thus far.

I finally just received full payment for hail damage from a May 2021 storm (almost 10 months after the event). Lemonade's adjuster provided an original estimate that was less than every roofer I spoke to, and it took me six months to resolve it with Lemonade. It seems like the problem is that the first three Lemonade staff people assigned to my case left the company, but Lemonade didn't reassign my case, so it took weeks between each staff person quitting for me to finally get a new staff person assigned to my case. My case totally fell through the cracks. I also received inconsistent info from each different staff person about the paperwork needed to adjust the estimate, which was a total pain for the roofer I ended up using.
