Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. Incompetent employees with hidden information. If you talk to 10 reps and ask the same question, you will get 10 different answers. Everyone is "sorry" but nobody can help. What this company is doing to people is WRONG!

Ambetter was a real mistake that I regret. First, there are no doctors in my area and second their communication is poor making it impossible to cancel the policy. They just keep charging me and charging me even after talking with a rep from the government healthcare and Ambetter. Figure I'll eventually have to get a lawyer.

100% of my premium is covered by my ACA tax credit. HealthCare.Gov says my out of pocket is $0 per month, yet Ambetter is requiring I pay my full premium and then some. HealthCare.Gov says that I have coverage, yet Ambetter says I don't. I've tried reaching out to them and nobody has been able to help. Literally a ripoff. Scam alert.

I have been trying for two months to cancel. This insurance premium has doubled and no longer covers my Dr. or clinic. Have made several phone calls both to Ambetter and the market place. I have dates, times and names of people I have spoken with. Even a confirmation number of cancellation. Frustrated.

They don't have any specialist within 200 miles of my area. They have a full list on their website but none of the Doctors listed accepts the insurance and/or their number is out of service. They are not doing anything to help me.

This is THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. I wouldn't even know what the plan coverage is like, because there are constant complications between them and the Healthcare marketplace. I call an average of 3 times a week to get assistance, and each time there is a new complication. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND LOOK ELSWHERE.

I have tried to make an appointment with doctors that are listed on the Ambetter website as being in the network. ALL doctors that I contacted have said they don't accept Ambetter. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR INSURANCE!! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!

I sent my first payment in December 2016 still today haven't received my Insurance card, nor a packet. I called them and still nothing. I called the doctors they have online and non take this insurance. I been getting a run around. I need a better insurance that's not about the money only.

Receiving calls and email for coverage that I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR including bills saying my account is "past due" Have spend over a half hour now trying to cancel. This is a huge time waste and very unethical. Auto enrolled from the healthcare marketplace. Total scam. Just because of this practice alone I would not use Ambetter in the future.

Ambetter has been nothing but trouble since I enrolled in 2015. They constantly tell you one thing and all of a sudden your being charged a whole different amount for premium. It's like they decide what you pay. I'm tired of this insurance

Literally no one any where around me accepts this insurance. The Provider list on their website is horribly outdated. I called the nearest 20 places listed for general medical service, and for mental health services. Not a single place I contacted actually accepted this insurance.

I received automated voice mail stating that I had been mandatory enrolled into ambetter health plan. Called back and listened to the list of automated prompts. No option to speak with Customer Service. I'm currently abroad so I don't have to pay the medical insurance but who knows how many times I'll be threatened by ambetter or other companies.

Monthly payment was made timely, but USPS delayed delivery which caused account suspension. I was lead to believe making immediate payment over phone would enable claim reimbursement. After having the payment processed and account revival, Ambetter refuses to process claim. This is fraud! Stay away!

You could take between 25 to 30 minutes to check status of claims and appeals. Representatives verify information and then transfer your call to where you need to verify information once again. Hold time for reps to check status could take up to 10 minutes.

False advertising. I have been calling around for two weeks now, directly from their list of 'providers'. Dozens listed, but none of 'their providers' are accepting new patients with Ambetter insurance. Several have stated problems being compensated from Ambetter, so they no longer want to deal with them.

I tried to cancel this insurance because I wasn't eligible for it. They told me 3 different times that my refund was in the mail. When I called the 4th time to check on it, they said that they never said that I would be given a refund. The fact that they lied 3 times was even worse than not getting the refund.

Had a PCP for 9 months that I never used. Called the doctor one day only to be told I am not covered. Called two other doctors, one didnt answer and one told me once they heard what insurance I had that "they were busy and would call me back". Never called back. Terrible insurance. Im going to miss them like a bad rash.

Just one example of one of the more simple problems ive encountered from ambetter insurance.

AMBETTER is the absolute worst. I have MS and they have denied my Copaxon medication 4 times. They are also dragging there feet in approving my MRI and there billing department holds your payment check for 10 days. I have never been so unhappy with a Health Insurance the only thing this place does correctly is take your money.

they send out your bill with less than 7 days to pay, or you are under their `grace period' where they dont have to cover you. They lock you out of your online account when you try to pay online. Their list of doctors dont exist or dont participate. AVOID
