In terms of ammunition, Cabela's will most likely have what you are looking to buy. Their ammunition may be a little more expensive, but the ammunition items purchased can be shipped to you in a matter of days. Cabela's has a free two-day shipping policy for any item that costs $50.00 or more.  

Return Policy

Cabela's does offer a 90-day return policy for customers who are not completely satisfied with their purchased items. The sporting goods store will provide a full refund/retail exchange for those who return items with receipts.

According to the company's website, items that are returned without a receipt "will be processed at the lowest sale price plus applicable sales tax. Such items may be exchanged for the same product or returned for merchandise credit in the form of a Cabela's gift card."

Not Focused on Firearms

Since Cabela's is not solely a firearms and ammunition retailer, they are not as devoted to guns and ammunition department as others.

They lack in the gun and ammunition selection because of their wide interests, hurt the gun owners in trying to find what they want to buy. Also, their price range tends to sit on the more expensive end of the spectrum, causing a jam for those that are on tight budgets. 

Limited Selection

Cabela's does not only have a guns and ammo department because they all specialize on the entire outdoor platform. Because of this broad outdoor focus, Cabela's does not have as wide of a selection of guns as other online stores do. 

Price Range

While there are inexpensive guns available, the majority of their quality products are extremely pricey. Their selection may not be the best for the first-time buyer. 

Return Policy Restrictions

Although Cabela's has a great 90-day return policy, there are some restrictions. Items that cannot be returned include firearms, black-powder guns, ammunition, gunpowder, primers, treestands, gasoline-powered items, boats, trailers, ATVs/UTVs, tractors, tractor implements, and Bargain Cave items.
