The Bad

• Countries

Archives has billions of records, but those records only cover a small portion of the world. This site will not be useful if you have ancestors that lived outside of the U.S. or the U.K. Countries such as Australia and Canada are not even represented in the records at Archives.

The Bottom Line

We would not recommend using Archives as your primary resource in doing genealogical research. The site does contain lots of useful information, but you are better off starting your research somewhere else and then using Archives to supplement the work you are doing.
