The gym it's self was good but I paid a 3 year membership in full and only went 1 year . Me and my family had to move and where we moved there was not a golds within like 200 miles. When I called to see about a refund or to see what they could do for me I was told I would not be given a refund. She then told me I could cancel my membership for 100 dollars. The already screwed me out of 800 dollars like I'm gonna give them another 100. They are a rip off and a scam.

Golds gym of Howell, New Jersey is a disgrace! We have members that have emailed corporate pleading for them to help the members! The gym is falling apart it had mildew everywhere in the bathrooms both men and women! Rugs in ladies room completely saturarstef ftom sauna leaking and never turning off ! Outdated equipment bugs all over alive and dead with no air conditioning and at many times no hit water! We pay a hefty monthly fee to be at this broken down bargain store gym! Why won't anyone help

I have a Membership with Golds in Kingwood Texas. 1.The equipment is falling apart. 2. The staff is rude & lies to you. 3. The manager refuses to call OR Email me back about issues iv had. 4. No billing issues but then AGAIN i did pre pay for 3 years up front.

Gold's gyms are nice, some are older. It doesn't bug me though, because I grew up working out in a used facility. The Gold's in Venice is a must workout location in your life if you are into bodybuilding.

I really like this gym its amazing and it has awesome customer service. They even have tanning available if you want. And a massage chair! Not open 24 hours but still have plenty of time to go! Prices just right too!

I’ve worked out a a few golds gyms over the years and feel like they are very comparable in price to other gyms. Their equipment seemed to be a little dated and worn, however I know there are new gyms popping up and that may not be the case now.

I had a Gold's Gym membership for a long time. I loved the variety of equipment and weights. I really enjoyed that I had access to the pool. I was also a student, so they gave me a student discount, so I feel like I got a lot of quality for very little pay.

I personally didn’t enjoy my time at Gold’s Gym because I didn’t feel like the atmosphere matched my personal fitness goals. It was also more expensive than I would’ve liked to pay so I switched gyms. I’m sure this gym is great for some people, but I enjoy others better

We've used Golds Gym before. I'd say they are overpriced for the very basic equipment they provide. I think gyms like Crossfit with trainers and classes is a much better way to get into shape. I do like that Gold's Gym had different classes you can go to like Yoga, Pilates, Zumba. But, overall it's overpriced for what you get.

Gold's Gym was in Utah prior to the Vasa takeover. I can confidently say that Gold's did a MUCH BETTER job at managing their facilities and equipment than Vasa.

They are big time SCAM. Keep charging you even after contract end. Its almost impossible to cancel. Call credit card company for chargeback. They do chargeback for last 8 months and Gold gym still charging so every month need to call CC company.

I was a long time member at Gold's gym under a family membership. I had to jump through hoops to cancel my membership. Then after filling out their paperwork they simply changed my membership to a single membership and continued blind me for a year!! VERY SHADY!!!

I'm trying cancell my membership and Gold's Gym continues to bill me. I have proof I cancelled. I have proof I moved to new state an employee asking that he "make sure" my account/membership was cancelled! They have billed me three overages and still cannot get it right. Horrible Customer service.

After the San Jose upgrade of equipment, the clientele are a bunch of meat head bullies that come over and take over the equipment one is using with out saying anything, after bringing this to the managements attention, I was told that the equipment needs to be shared. Terrible staff. DO NOT expect courtesy at this this place.

I started a application with gym. My payment would not go through so I left because my cards would not work. Im thinking that would be the end. Nope they have charged me anyway and im not a member or used the facility. I am being charged for filling out an application. Customer service is terrible. Would not go back EVER.

My Gold's gym has rude, unprofessional people and I never see anyone cleaning or maintaining equipment. the equipment brakes and they never gets fixed or replaced. All the people that work they're think they are better than you (the vibe).
