Fitworks was founded in 1996 with a mission to help people to live healthier and feel better. As a locally owned and operated fitness center in the state of Ohio, employees get to know the members well. Fitworks employees work everyday to accomplish four main values:
Going to local gyms or health clubs by yourself can be discouraging when you lose motivation. Fitworks confronts that issue head-on with a wide variety of group exercise and fitness classes to help members reach their fitness goals. Group fitness classes offered include the following:
As you participate in these classes under the direction of a staff instructor, members of your group will be able to help you push yourself to reach your fitness goals. Each of the class options provides you the chance to work with a training group in a friendly and helpful environment.
Training and/or coaching with a personal trainer can benefit members in a number of ways. Trainers can help you learn how to use the equipment properly in order to avoid injury. They can also help you set weight loss goals, muscle building goals, nutritional goals, and much more. Fitworks offers a free personal training session to get you started. If you feel that this training program will be helpful to you, you can continue with more sessions for an additional fee.
The following Fitworks amenities are available to members on a 24-hour basis:
If you live in the state of Ohio and are looking for a local fitness center or health club, you may be in luck. Unfortunately, there are currently no Fitworks gyms outside of Ohio.
A number of Fitworks reviews have mentioned that membership cancellation was a difficult process and for some, it was never properly taken care of. It appears that in order to get the most out of each of the memberships that is contracted, Fitworks charges a fee for cancellation as well as continues to charge the consumer until the cancellation has been officially filed (which can take a number of months). Those who have reached out to management to have these issues resolved and receive refunds have largely been unsuccessful.
Unfortunately, because of the complications when attempting to cancel a membership, some past members are displeased with the customer service provided by Fitworks, stating that they were unable to get the help that they needed. At times, representatives were less than friendly during their phone interactions.
If you are looking to start a membership with Fitworks, you will need to reach out to a representative as the pricing is currently not advertised online. Knowing how much you will pay for a membership is very important when researching the best gym for you.
If you live in Ohio, we feel that Fitworks could be a good option for you as a local gym or fitness center. With group fitness exercise classes, a number of amenities, and personal training options, you will be able to set and get help towards reaching your goals with the help of professionals. If you would like to know what this will cost you, you will need to reach out to a representative at one of the gym locations. Before you sign a contract and start a membership, remember that you will be required to pay an additional fee and possibly pay out the rest of your contracted months if you break the contract. We recommend looking at other options to appropriately compare this gym with others to ensure that you get the best bang for your buck. We cannot suggest this fitness center for anyone living outside of Ohio.
We're on a mission to empower consumers to make the best decisions and connect confidently with companies that deserve their business.
