Tallie was created in 2008 and recently merged with Nexonia. Combining the two companies gave both greater resources and breadth of expertise.
Tallie’s simple but effective features include the following:
Snap a photo of receipts: Download the Tallie App and quickly take pictures of all business-related expenses. Tallie’s software will locate merchant, date, and amount and create an expense line for that purchase.
Direct credit card transaction import: Connect your bank account for any credit card to Tallie and import groups of charges and transactions quickly.
Mileage tracking: Work-related expenses can be a big tax break, including the number of miles you drive for work. The Tallie App will track your mileage the second you step into your car. Get into your car, click start, and immediately Tallie will begin to track your mileage.
Tallie teaches its customers how to use the software to its full potential. This education gives customers access to a step-by-step tutorial, access to training webinars, instructional materials, and more.
Tallie’s pricing is relatively high compared to many of its competitors. The industry average is anywhere from $5-$7 per month, while Tallie’s services cost $9 per month. Although this is not outrageous given the quality of the product, it is still more expensive than its competitors.
Tallie’s software works as well as any in the industry. Its cost is a little bit higher, but the quality Tallie maintains and the services it renders make the cost worth it for many customers.
