Indianapolis Zoo

The Indianapolis Zoo was originally founded in 1964 and strictly runs on funds from donors rather than the government. The Zoo offers a wide range of animal exhibits and provides a few different rental locations for private events. Many types of private events can be held at the Indianapolis Zoo including weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, and other special occasion events.

In regard to private events, the Indianapolis Zoo has various third-party vendors available for service. In fact, the Zoo has an exclusive caterer and selected autovisual provider that customers are able to request for private events. Customers can rent the St. Vincent Dolphin Gallery, the Bicentennial Pavilion, the Hulman Riverhouse, the Hix Institute for Research and Conservation space, and the Oceans building. The Zoo’s event spaces available for rent have different capacity and price ranges.
