The Good

• Data Security
• Products and Services
• Helpful Tools

Data Security

SAP focuses on security because they see increasing IT-threats as technology continues to advance. Their goal with security is to entirely protect customer/user information. On their website, SAP allows customers to research their security options/in-place protections as well as report any IT vulnerability they may experience.

Products and Services

SAP provides three main ERP software systems based on three different types of business models:

• SAP S/4HANA and ERP for Large Enterprises: This includes SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP ERP
• ERP for Midsize Companies: This includes SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business ByDesign, and SAP Business One
• ERP for Small Businesses: This includes SAP Business One and SAP Anywhere

SAP's website also claims that its business processes are 75 percent faster than its competitors.

Helpful Tools

On their website, SAP provides some tools to aid customers in finding which ERP software fits their needs. They have a place on their website for a live chat with a SAP representative, instructional videos, and a comprehensive IDC report for customers to read concerning the business world's digital transformation.

The Bottom Line

Although SAP has quality security/protection, three solid options for ERP software, and helpful website tools available, they lack important information on their website which may be a concern to potential users.
