If you’ve already taken an ancestry DNA test through another provider, Findmypast allows you to upload your DNA results for free to its database. This gives you access to Findmypast’s family networks and allows you to find and connect with living relatives.
Findmypast accepts DNA test uploads from the following providers: AncestryDNA, 23andMe, MyHeritage, and FamilyTreeDNA. The company’s website mentions that if you have a test from a different provider, you can still email Findmypast to determine if you’re eligible for a free upload.

You can add deep ancestry to your basic DNA test kit for $29.95. Findmypast does not offer its own DNA testing. The DNA test on Findmypast’s website is from Living DNA. We suggest reading Living DNA’s Terms of Service as well as Findmypast’s to ensure you have all the details you need before committing to a Living DNA test through Findmypast.
