Also when it may feel like accounts are taking too long to reach a settlement, it's due to our negotiations wanting to make sure they get the best settlement for the clients. They don't want to just go off the first settlement the creditor provides because it can still be too high and we want to make sure client is saving fair enough amount on those accounts. Creditor calls are a normal part of the process, when you stop making payments creditors call to collect on the debt, unfortunately there is no way around this but we do have resources that can help you manage these calls. Keep in mind that our settlement fees are bigger savings than having to pay your creditors the full 100% of the debt owed + interest % + any additional fees they charge. Yes, your creditor may have presented a lower settlement amount, but that is just to pull you back in so they could hit you with having to pay the full balance.
