They just made mistake after mistake. They gathered up information and took forever to negotiate with companies on how much it would take to make a payoff plan for some credit cards. Their fees are too high and there or feel I did not expect that we're not clearly explain to me regarding the ways that can get money from me. For example to directly wire money from my bank account cost of additional fee. I would not recommend them.

We regret that there may have been some miscommunication. We strive to provide stellar service at all times and train our counselors to communicate the process as clearly as possible. When a prospective client calls we reach out to their creditors right away to negotiate lower interest rates on their behalf. While some creditors get back to us right away, others take longer to do so. The fees you pay are primarily to compensate the certified credit counselors and client services representative who manages your account. Fees are based on your budget, how many credit cards you have, and how much you owe. Fees on the debt management program are governed by the Uniform Debt Management Services Act which says debt management companies can charge up to $79 a month. Because we are a nonprofit, the average client pays about $40 a month. And those fees are just a small percentage of how much money you’ll save by getting rid of your debts with the reduced interest rates. Again, we regret any miscommunication and will use your review in our refresher training sessions.
