The Good

  • Classes and entertainment
  • Great amenities
  • Worldwide cruises to 15 locations

Classes and Entertainment

For those interested in educational pursuits, there are plenty of enrichment classes to choose from. You can learn a foreign language, become a wine connoisseur, or create your own jewelry. Young kids will love the DreamWorks Experience, where they can mingle with well-known characters from Shrek and Madagascar. You can also watch your favorite films poolside.

Great Amenities

Cruise rates cover all meals served in the main dining room. Guests may select from one of two set dining times or reserve a table in advance. Guests will find numerous food choices, from doughnuts to pizza to Asian cuisine. There are standard amenities found on all Royal Caribbean ships, but there are also some unique features that vary based on what cruise is booked. These typical amenities include:
  • DreamWorks Experience
  • Adventure Ocean Youth Program
  • Shore Excursions
  • Playtime for Parents
  • North Star capsule
  • Seaplex
  • Rock Climbing
  • Zip line
  • Wave Simulator
  • Fitness Center
  • Ice Skating
  • Mini Golf
  • and More

Dining Options

Specialty restaurants feature more upscale choices such as steak and Italian cuisine. Additional fees may apply and you will need to schedule a reservation in advance if you want to eat in one of the specialty restaurants. Some cruises also feature Mystery Theater Dinners. Beverages are not included in the price of meals. Beverage packages are available for purchase.

Destinations

Where the Royal Caribbean cruise ships travel to is also another key selling point of their vacation package. While destinations may vary year to year depending on weather restrictions and other regulations, there are common destinations Royal Caribbean typically cruises to. These cruises last anywhere from three to nineteen days and are offered year round. Destinations on these excursions include:
  • Caribbean
  • Bahamas
  • Alaska
  • Asia
  • Australia and New Zealand
  • Bermuda
  • Canada and New England
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Europe
  • Hawaii
  • Pacific Northwest
  • Panama Canal
  • South America
  • South Pacific
  • and the Transatlantic
You will also need to adhere to three separate dress codes while onboard the ship. Polo shirts, slacks, and sundresses are appropriate choices for casual wear. On casual evenings, a jacket and tie is required for men and dresses or pantsuits are acceptable for women to wear. On formal evenings, tuxedos and evening gowns are required attire.

Security

Royal Caribbean International has closed-circuit television cameras located in hundreds of strategic, public locations throughout the ship but not in private staterooms, public restrooms, or private spa areas. These systems are upgraded as new and beneficial technologies are developed. Recordings from these cameras are routinely utilized by our security teams and made available to investigative authorities as requested.

The Bad

  • Protection program
  • Extra fees and charges

Protection Program

Despite that there are no major service fees. Royal Caribbean does charge extra for luggage valet, full service laundry, and internet service. The Vacation Protection package offered by Royal Caribbean is also not as comprehensive as other cruise lines. The protection package includes:
  • CruiseCare Cancellation Penalty Waiver Program
  • CruiseCare Travel Insurance Program
  • Trip delays provides coverage up to $500 per person
  • Accident and Sickness Medical expenses provides coverage up to $10,000 per person
  • Emergency Medical Evacuations and Repatriations provides coverage up to $25,000 per person
  • Lost, stolen or damaged baggage provides coverage up to $1,500
  • Bag delays provides coverage up to $500
  • CruiseCare Worldwide Emergency Assistance Program*

Extra Fees and Charges

Some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages may also incur extra charges on your cruise bill. Beverage packages are available to purchase in your options. Ships can feel crowded and cramped, especially around holiday vacations. Not all amenities are covered. Also, transfers are available for pre-purchase from the arrival airport to the pier on day of sailing and from the pier to the departure airport on debarkation day only.

The Bottom Line

Royal Caribbean International Cruises have entertainment and amenity options that guests of all ages will enjoy. The destination cruises are affordable for families and those on a budget or seeking a deal on their next vacation package. Older adults will also enjoy their travels on these cruises as well. Activities that are both relaxing and energetic provide fun and excitement for both children and adults. The only downside to cruises offered by Royal Caribbean International is the extra charges for offshore activities and some of the onboard amenities. Overall, Royal Caribbean is a recommended cruise line for customers enjoyment.

The worse experience ever. We have not been in any cruise and this was our 1st time to be on any. We did book this cruise for my wife, mother in law, and our two kids. My kids were very excited and looking forward for this trip. The cruise started from Los Angles and the destination was Encinitas Mexico. All of us did go for Covid test and you can see the negative test result. Upon arrival at the Los Angles port, they told us that the test result were useless for the kids and they must get a new Covid test before they can get their boarding pass. We did wait for one hour to get the test result. One of my kids came back inconclusive so they said that need to test it again and believe it or not, they ended up testing three time so finally they let us to go to check in line. Please keep in that that this process of getting my kids tested took 3 hours and by the time we able to go to check in counter, the ship was ready to depart and we were the last ones. We provided our passports, vaccine cards and our itineraries to the staff at the check-in counter. Also, just FYI, the staff at this check-in counter did not have adequate training and they were keep asking others to help them. My wife changed to her name to married name so she got my last name. She did change from Fatemeh A to Lida A Z. We did provide the vaccine ID card, driver license, credit card, and insurance card that had the same name on the vaccine card along with her passport and the name change copy. The lady over the counter said that she has to check with the Cruise Manager, which took a while for him to come down from the ship. A gentleman by the name of Jorge P who was the Guest Service Manager came and after he looked at all the proofs, he said: NO SHE CAN NOT GO. He stated that he needs the original Change of the Name and then he disappeared. We traveled internationally last summer from LA to Dubai and we only showed them her passport, vaccine ID card, and driver license and all was good. I tried to talk to him and explain that she just changed her married name but he said THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT and he left. This is just racial discrimination towards our family. This is pure and simple. We were very upset and struggling to see what we can do. This was a time that the kids start crying. Now we are really stressing out since the ship is about to leave and we need to make a decision. My wife has Monophobia and she never stayed alone at home still she asked us to go, since the kids were really looking forward for this trip. We did check in and we end up walking into the ship without my wife and my kid’s mother. On the way to the ship using the elevator, there was a lady wearing a Royal Caribbean uniform which was working as elevator operator turned toward me and told me that: You are the family who hold me back to stay extra hours at work so I can not be with my family. You can see that I am already very upset about the whole thing and now I hear this. I was just about to explode but I controlled myself and I asked for name tag but she did not have any. My kids were having a tough time without their mother and I was having hell of a hard time to take care of two kids and above all, I was also covering for my wife who is the caregiver to her senior mom. The kids we depressed and they just keep watching movie most of the time in the cabin. Here is another issue, the 2nd day we arrived in Encinitas and my kids were happy that they can get out the ship. We went all the way down to the 4th floor in order to go to Encinitas. Next thing you know they tell me that my kids can not go out since they are not vaccinated. I was already upset about the whole thing and now I needed to deal with this stupid issue. I told them how come no one I mean no one told us that your kids can not get out of the ship unless they are vaccinated. The itinerary destination was Encinitas and if the passengers are with kids they should have explain before booking or at least while checking in that my daughter who is 8 years old and my son who is 10 can not get out the boat unless are vaccinated. We could have think twice before booking or at the time of checking in. You can see how upset the kids were and how the cabin was our only place to stay which as I mentioned was like a prison. Please keep in mind that the weather was cold and windy. We are so upset at Royal Caribbean that we wont be stepping in any of their cruise and this discount is worthless piece of paper.

We were so excited to go on our Royal Carriben cruise. We had booked the largest ship and a week before setting off for sail, they emailed us to tell us our cruise was canceled. It was a nightmare trying to rebook another cruise because 6000 other passengers were doing the exact same thing. Something we had planned on for over a year ruined. They did return our money, and they comped us for a complimentary trip, however, that trip had to be booked within 6months, which I didn't notice on the email. A year later I was finally excited to book the trip and then learned that the offer had expired. Our compensation for them ruining our entire year's vacation was gone and they refused to issue another. This has ruined me from Royal and I will never sail with them because of it. When I spoke to customer service, they had no compansion towards our situation whatsoever, the time taken off work that couldn't be given back, the precruise purchases, the excitement in the children, all ruined and ignored by Royal. They expected us to book and take a new cruise in 6months time. I think they realized that most passengers would be unable to do this and that is why they offered such a short window to use their supposed compensation.

Just returned from 7 day cruise on the freedom and was very disappointed. The service was just ok and the food was below par, nothing compared to previous cruises. I have pic's where there was jam on our table on the balcony for four days and hair on the deck for our entire stay, pic's don't lie. I can have ok food at Mcdonald's. The service was below par and all of the 38 people in our party said the same thing. One of our silver members a had the head chief come out because the food was cold, and the last night the fish was left on the plate Sorry to say but quality on this Royal Caribbean cruise was below par.

This is for Grandeur of the Seas for 10 nights to the Western Caribbean - Room 3140 WiFi is very expensive, but only works about 2 hours a day tops. Extremely slow so incredibly frustrating. Here's a tip; Go to the 3rd floor elevator or the 5th floor guest services and you are much more likely to get on wifi. Went to customer service and they basically blamed our devices. I guess nobody has an iPhone 6 and a 6+. Such rare devices they must be unique. I even reset my phone settings and network settings just in case. Two devices. Same problems. Dropping at the same time and different times. Never working very long. Was at lunch which was supposed to be until 3p. 2:30p the food is going away. I only got there at 2:20p because I thought I had 40 minutes. If you don't bring Advil you won't be able to walk after sleeping on the beds. I was in unbearable pain for the first 4 days before I figured out to take Advil. Before that I was taking 2 Tylenol every 4 hours to just be able to think because the pain was so bad. One of the first shows was really not fun because a woman decided to get very drunk, and thought it was appropriate to not only interrupt the show, but to get on stage and hit on the performer. It took a while before the performer had to ask for security to get her off the stage. Sloppy drunks are annoying. Slot machines are set to have very low payouts. Basically everyone said that the machines just eat money and they never saw anyone winning. When getting off in Cozumel don't do an excursion that involves the ferry unless everyone in your party is good at roller coasters. Woman threw up behind me. Wife had to see a doctor after. When getting off at any port don't waste your money booking excursions through the ship. There's this lie that they will make sure you end up on board if you book through them but we were going to be left behind because the ship "Doctor" didn't feel comfortable treating my wife. The "ice tea" is brown water that tastes badly. The lemonade is sometimes good but most times way too concentrated and you have to add 3 cups of water to make it drinkable. The only good free drink was the fruit punch and it was only on Labadee. I get that you want me to spend like $24/day for me and like $24/day for my wife to have drinks that but we did pay a pile of money for the cruise. If you have coupons because you are at the Gold or higher Crown and Anchor rewards program level don't expect most of the staff to tell you there's a discount. Second time to Ben and Jerry's we found out about the 25% discount. If you end up unable to leave the ship on a port day don't expect anything to be open or for there to be anything to do. Not even a movie on the screen by the pool. How much would that cost the cruise? Even freaking TV on that screen. Ok there was one movie on the day we got stuck. That 2 hours was the highlight of our day. Then we thought we'd go to bingo which was at the time people get back but there were not enough people so it was cancelled. Like 27 people. Takes more for it to be profitable so not worth it for the cruise. Thought we would do trivia because there are a lot of trivia games. Watched the same person at the same table cheat on multiple games. If people are going to cheat and win then what's the point???? The couple of sodas for the "mini bar" in the room. Looked at the Sprite can and it was expired. WTF? The best part of the cruise was the time off the ship in Jamaica. We wished we didn't have to get back on the ship ever again. Unfortunately there were 3 full days left after. On Labadee... Which is a private beach.... The people selling things are worse than being in Times Square. All of them selling the same thing and all of them nagging you until you look at their junk they have made. I turned back to the beach because they wouldn't let me simply walk about and look. WTF is up with that on a private beach? All in all the biggest waste of money. Not worth going on about. My first and last cruise. Not going to do this again. If I could go back in time I would have kept our wedding gifts and not wasted them on this cruise.

On my last cruise on the Independence I had many problems.1.We had to get room key redone 7 times 2.The soda from the dispensers was awful when we asked for canned soda we were told we could not have it. 3.Diner service was very slow. 4.we have never been told no so many times on a cruise 5.People were coming into the food service area with no shirts when we complained nothing was done. 6.Trying to find a seat by the pool was impossible 7.The service overall was terrible 8.People at guest services were rude We have cruised 7 times with Royal Caribbean and have never been treated so badly. If this had been our first cruise with you we would never be back. We have a cruise booked for May 7,2016 hopefully this will be a better experience if it is not we will be looking into another cruise line.

As a Gold member with RCCL we are very loyal and choose them whenever possible. Until this cruise, we have never experienced the deception and poor quality from this cruise line. Our cruise began upon opening the door to our stateroom and seeing a padded support pole 3" from the foot of our bed. This was never revealed in the expansive information on the RCCL website, in multiple communications with RCCL CSRs, or my travel agent. I immediately called Guest Services on-board the ship to complain. I was told I had to wait until after the ship leaves port to determine if any other suites were available. To make a long story short, a "stupid"visor insisted there were no other rooms available. I find that hard to believe that EVERY suite or higher was occupied. He offered a measly 30% standard discount of a future cruise with a one year expiration. Royal is no longer the "royal" of cruise lines in my estimation. On two occasions I stubbed my toe in the middle of the night walking into the support pole. I now have a black & blue toe. In addition to the pole issue, the overall look and feel of this refurbished ship was also disappointing. Paint over bubbling rust spots inside and out, state rooms that were just dull looking, mis-matched balcony furniture, and years worth of dust accumulated in the light fixtures. The food was also sub par. Bland flavors, including rubbery eggs in the morning, burgers and chicken during lunch, and steak or seafood at dinner. When you asked for something extra, for example, anchovies on a Caesar Salad, you always had to ask again when it arrived to the table. The website indicated there were 2 shows a night. It turns out there was only one show per night and then a lame family event. Apparently this is acceptable to RCCL as they just responded to my complaint and stated they would not compensate me any more than the measly 30% discount. I will no longer choose RCCL for any future cruises. Thank you RCCL for helping me make this decision.

I returned from my long awaited vacation yesterday. I know you will understand how VERY disappointed I am with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Co. because you know how I looked so forward to this vacation. You know how I sat in your office last August and contemplated taking this cruise. Number 1. I looked at the price and said "It is SO expensive." You walked me through how I could have a payment plan and how possible it would be to have a wonderful vacation on the Allure of the Seas. I finally said yes because I owed it to myself after teaching school for 28 years. I felt it was worth spending $3000.00 on myself for a change. So I began with a $250.00 deposit and a $200.00 a month payment to take myself and my oldest daughter on a vacation of a lifetime. I dreamed about this cruise for months, anticipating the amazing time I would have, after all it was my birthday month and not to mention I promised my daughter a great time. She so deserved it. She is a single mother of 2 boys, one with a brain tumor. She had secured someone to watch the boys for a week and we were set to sail the seas and visit the islands. Being of Haitian decent my daughter was truly looking forward to the trip to Labadee. She had never been to her father's country and we had intended on really making this a memorable time. Well, it turned out to be memorable, but not in a positive way. The problem began on July 2nd, the day we were scheduled to dock in Jamaica for the 2nd leg of our fantastic venture. My daughter woke up with loose stools and felt she needed some medicine to correct the consistency. I suggested she go to the infirmary and ask for something. She was not sick; she had no fever; no upset stomach; she was just concerned about being in Jamaica and not being able to fine a CLEAN facility to use. She was also on her cycle and felt the need to NOT have to frequent the restroom more than needed. Upon arriving at the infirmary they had her fill out a form explaining what she needed and when she put that information down they immediately quarantined her. Of course she was just amazed at this suggestion and insisted she was NOT going to stay in the infirmary because she was NOT sick. This brought about 3 security guards to the situation along with a Front End Manager named Tracy. After going around the block with the explanation about the CDC rules etc., Tracy assured my daughter that she understood her feelings and gave her another cabin with a balcony, told her she could order her meals from room service, she could have complimentary WiFi and movies along with complimentary alcoholic drinks. Keep in mind that my daughter was not sick. We as a family don't eat a lot of commercially prepared food. We grow our vegetables, only eat fish and chicken, and we juice a lot. The change in diet and over abundance of food triggered her system to behave perculiarly. My daughter accepted her fate and moved to cabin #7712. The remainder of the family went on to Jamaica leaving her behind. This was also troubling to my other family members because we were scheduled to celebrate my birthday and her aunt's, who came all the way from New York to celebrate our birthdays together. We had reservations for Chops Grill that night. We had plans on celebrating with champagne and steaks. That was not going to be possible anymore because my daughter was quarantined now. We had to cancel our Jamaica celebration along with our evening dinner celebration. And of course now our whole family was upset over the quarantine situation. She stayed in her cabin as told and ordered her meals, an alcoholic drink, a bottle of champagne, some dessert, etc. At that point the vacation was tainted with disappointment and disbelief that this actually happened after paying ALL this money for this special time. We were offered compensation for a day of missing the island experience but as you could imagine it just took the wind out of our sails. We tried to push on trying to accept the situation, but as we attempted to leave the ship at the end of the cruise, all but my daughter was allowed to leave. She was asked to go to the accounts office and clear her bill. She was charged with a bill for over $200.00 for room service charges. Tracy was asked to come down and verify what she told my daughter about the ability to charge to the ship. Tracy called her a "LIAR", and said she didn't say she could order alcohol and was charging her $123.00 for the that. when my daughter refused a Laura called her a "thief" because she was trying to steal from the company and threatened to call the sheriff if she didn't settle the account. When my daughter refused they put those charges on MY credit card. That was illegal and if that company thinks I'm going to stand for that they are sadly mistaken. My family came on that ship healthy, got quarantined for a misdiagnosed illness, was called a thief and a liar and had to pay $3000.00 for this treatment. I have never in my 59 years EVER been mistreated like this. I demand a full refund of my money for this trip along with compensation for my travel expenses ($500.00). I am appalled at the behavior of the staff on that ship and will NEVER cruise with this company again. This is not my first experience with this company. I am a Gold member with the Crown and Anchor club. I have never been treated this way on a Royal Caribbean ship. I have cruised on several cruise liners and have always raved about the quality of service and details of the ship to all who ask. This one experience has caused me to believe that the attitude toward me and my family was due to racism of several staff members. I have been on this earth 59 years, been African American all of those years, and know very well when I encounter racism. If I were not of my ethnicity this whole situation would have been handled differently. I hold a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a specialist degree, all in education, and I'm well aware on how things work in this world.

My first and only experience on a Royal Caribbean cruise was in April 2015. It was a group cruise and we had approximately 90 people in our group that also included 3 private open bar cocktail parties. Without draggin this out into an extremely long review that most will not read in it's entirety, I will keep it short & simple: The food was sub par. Maintenance was less than expected. Cleanliness left some to be desired. But the final straw was that Customer Service & Satisfaction were DEPLORABLE! Not only did they have some making up to do by the time I got off the ship, but then they drug their feet and took over a month to respond to my almost a dozen attempts to contact a rep through multpile sources and then still finalized with a completely unacceptable 'offer/resolution'. My resolution is that I will NOT cruise on Royal Caribbean again. I'm not happy about that since they have the largest ships packed with the most up-to-date activities, but I REFUSE to pay that kind of money to be treated like I was treated. My money spends just as good on Carnival and I always have a good time and get treated like royalty on THEIR ships!

Royal from the time we got to your bus transport to the end of our cruise it was HORRorible. Your rep at the airport was neglectful when ask for help to push wheel chair to bus which she told my husband to push himself. (I told her I was unable ) so he had to roll himself all the way to the bus where the wheel of the chair got caught in a grate and tipped him over. She stood there(next to him holding a phone) and didn't call for help Everyone getting on the bus saw what was happening. The bus driver had to help him up.He was hurt.He was able to walk short distance but was in pain. When we ask for a chair during the fire drill we were sent back and forth from one station to another and refused to be let in the auditorion to set .HE passed out and end up in the ER room. We had to cancel all our excursions..He spent most of his time in room . We where told that the $500 ER bill would be taken off but it was on our bill and we where sent down to ER to get it of while we where leaving the ship. I knock several times and called for assistance there on the phone and no one would answer till I pounded on the door and told the nurse there what we needed done. She told use to sit across from her desk and wait for DR to take it off. While we waited 20-30 minutes all she did was pick up the phone when it rang and push a button and hang up. Never talked to anyone. Now I know when I called I was put on hold like every other call that came in.She didn't talk to know one. YES it was a bad cruise which my husband was treated for 2 months after the accident for kidney and back pain from both falls. That was the second time we tried Royal and extremely disappointed. NO ROYAL TREATMENT ON THAT cruise.I did send in the required paper work reguarding the accident but never heard from you all again So I guess thats your ROYAL treatment And whats with NO coffee station after 9 PM.You afraid someone might steal the coffee pots??? and had a hard time finding something to eat other then room service.after 9

We have cruised Royal Caribbean several times and had great experiences until we cruised out central Florida. We stayed one night in Cape Canaveral and cruised the next day. The ship will full of young people from South America. These young people were rude and basically took over the ship. They jammed the elevators, were loud at dinner and out of control. The staff did nothing to stop this behavior. All the other passengers were unhappy but could get nothing done. This was our last Royal Caribbean Cruise. I like cruising out of Central Florida but did not like the behavior of these individuals. Our next cruise was on Norwegian and was much better. I had always recommended Royal Caribbean until we had this experience.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with . Over priced and will nickel and dime you. Instead of making something better, they (including a supervisor) will not help and make NO effort to be accommodating. I will tell you to save your money, go on Norwegian. Amazing food, service and drink package is FREE! They have new ships that will rival RC too.

Cruised the Allure in western Mediterranean. This ship is too large. It cannot accommodate the thousands of passengers. Crew were inept and obviously told to sell passengers something every chance they got. Since tips are included the crew has no incentive to treat passengers well. Be ready for long lines and waits for everything. Shows were mediocre at best. Food was nothing special.

Fourth cruise on RCC and royally disappointed. I would have scored a "0" except the whole thing was partially our fault. Never book on spring break if you are a senior cruiser. Ship, staff, service, just everything was terrible. Even was served a rotten steak in the main dining room. Head waiter said "Sorry but I always tell my waiters not to recommend the steak". This was on board the Vision of the Seas out of Tampa. Never again! We love RCCL but will be very careful which ship and when we travel. There was way too much bad to completely cover it here.

I wasn't happy at all with my trip. I bought a drink package but never received my refillable cup. I went to the customer service desk to ask when I'd receive it and was told one would be sent to my room but never got it. I was also shorted a bottle of wine that I paid for. No one at the guest service desk seemed like they knew what they were doing. Food wasn't nearly as good as other cruises that I've been on. This was probably the worst cruise that I've ever been on.

Got injured on the ship and they didn't do anything, also had another BAD experience when I got stuck on there private Island and we stayed on island over night in trash bags trying to block wind. Also "lost" our alcohol that we checked in and took away our shell and other beach souvenirs if it is ok with customs why are they taking that stuff not honest with excursions.

The best thing about my last cruise was the cabin steward, totally awesome man. but the rest of the cruise was far from being exciting. the food , well it wasn't good almost everything was super spicy and my husband resorted to eating hamburgers and hot dogs for most of the 7 days, service on the pool deck was almost non-existent. RCCL did not respond to my comments on the survey I completed.

Our experience was not good at all. The food selections were poor, at best. And the food in dining room and buffet were only warm, if not cold. The Singers and actors were talented but the music was too loud to hear them sing and the first performance of Westside to Broadway was terrible. Many said it made no sense, did not connect, costumes were terrible. I could go on and on. Most of the servers seemed to be bothered by our requests. We have cruised with RCCL before and this was a terrible experience. We still prefer HAL.

Oasis on sept 12, 2015: awful time was had by us 4. The buffet set up is terrible, most don't understand how it works. They cater to certain ethnicities in the buffet. No one explains to you that if you want to see any of the shows you have to make a schedule and sign up for any and all before you get on the ship. No spur of the moment think I'll go to a comedy show tonight after dinner. Not my way to have a vacation. I was so looking forward to a wonderful time on this beautiful ship but it sure isn't what I thought it would be.

Sailed on Oasis. Beautiful ship. Nickle and Dimed you for everything. Dinner was a 4 hour event every night. Kids ordered Mac and Cheese and arrived with elbow macaroni with a piece of sliced cheese on it. I wish I could post the photo! Bought the high dollar alcohol pkg. was NEVER once served on deck by the pool. Had to get up and get our own drinks the entire 8 days. Just really disappointed. Carnival will maintain our yearly business. I was happy with how speedy disembarkment was compared to Carnival. That was nice and fast!

I've only had one experience with Royal Caribbean and it was bad enough that I have sworn to never sail them again. The customer service is deplorable. We were treated rudely from the time we arrived until we disembarked. Most staff seem to have the attitude of "we already have your money, you're no longer important." We just cruised about a month ago and, when making the reservations, Royal was a little cheaper but, as I said, I won't sail them again. I'd rather spend the few extra dollars then to go back to this line.

First time on a cruise. Lounge chair on deck 12 blew over and hit me in the nose. Bleeding all over. Saw 20 crew members, no one even asked if i was ok. No one in medical. Called nurse, went to voicemail. I was bruised and swollen all week. Also, rooms could use some TLC. Sheers on sliding doors were filthy.....room smelled like smoke (not from me).....mildew smell.

They totally ruined my luggage so bad that I lost pieces of clothing from my suitcase when it arrived in my stateroom. They were going to fix it with duct tape. Our cabin steward always told us she was too busy to do "things" like give us ice, bring fresh towels, etc. Food was just average. The 24 hour eatery was not very good. Entertainment was lacking

last cruise on Brillance of the seas was terrible, waiter dropped a drink on my head in the dinning room and didn't even bother to give me a towel. Bartenders in one lounge were very rude and wouldn't even look at people seated at on portion of the bar said they were to busy with the lines.room was dirty on arrival and we couldn't find a person to finish cleaning it. just the worst ship ever. we will never book that ship again.

I give it a zero. Too crowded, old, dirty and smelly. Not enough help . Staff great but the buck stops there. will not go on another one with this company. Not worth the money at all everything broke down no wonder people get sick on it.

Our cruise was the cruise from Hell! It was our first and last cruise. We received it as a Christmas gift from our kids and after felt bad they wasted thier money. We tried talking to customer relations and basically they didn't want to here about it.

I had my first RC cruise in March on Quantum of the Seas and was not impressed. There was a sewer smell when walking on outside deck and Noro Virus everywhere which I know was not there fault - not very personable. I miss the old way of cruising. I would not go back

Chopped up ship, virus outbreak and swim up drug dealers on the shore excursions. Yeah was not the best cruise we have been on and the staff were not the friendliest people to say the least. I think we will stick with our other cruise line.

trip started out well, but items were stolen from our luggage last night as they packed up. Heartbreaking when camera with photos gone and shopping memorabilia stolen. will not travel with them.

Terrible!! Food is edible, NOT awesome. I was supposed to be given a credit and was not. No one is available to ever speak to you since you have to have a supervisor. Carnival is the way to go

Lost money due to cancelled flight. Could not get a refund from Rci under no circumstances. If you arrive onboard at 3:01 pm you are out of luck.we are two seniors that will not be cruising for a long time.

Horrible customer service! I received the worst customer experience and was told if i bought insurance i would get my money refunded if I needed to cancel. This was not true. I had to jump through hoops to talk to anyone and I was refunded “credits” not money. They lied!!
