Stitch Fix offers subscription clothing boxes for men, women, and kids. Its women’s clothing offerings include maternity options and plus sizes. Once clients create their style profile, they can order a delivery box. There is a styling fee for each box, but the fee goes toward purchasing the items in the box you choose to keep. If you don’t like all of the items in the box, you just send them back without needing to process a return

Stitch Fix is headquartered in San Francisco. It was founded by Katrina Lake in 2011. Stitch Fix is available in the United States and the United Kingdom.

I always receive something I love in my Stitch Fix box, but I am hesitant to keep items (especially if it is only one thing from my box) because of the automatic $20 styling fee. I feel like sometimes the item itself is barely worth more than that. In addition, you pay some flat rate in your initial order. Overall, due to the price of stitch fix, I think people are better off shopping on their own unless they are looking to try out a specific, new style of clothing and need inspiration.

Stitch Fix sounds great in concept: Fill out a questionnaire, pin outfits to a Pinterest board, and a customized box of clothing comes straight to your house. I have had a few hits with my Stitch Fix box, but mostly misses. Maybe if I would have tried the subscription for a longer amount of time my stylist and I could have had a better understanding of my style. It was nice to have things delivered right to my house and be able to ship right back.

I used stitch fix once after seeing good reviews and ads on social media. After completing my style profile and getting my box, its like they really didnt pay attention. Some things were okay, but others were totally off. Also, the items didnt go with my price range.

I’ve only used this once and didn’t love what I received. I do have other friends that love what they get. So I’m thinking you have to try it a couple times to get your style down?

After all of the questions and links to my Pinterest board I felt like the stylist(s) just didn’t serve to my taste. And they didn’t have a great selection of modest clothing.

The clothes were nice, but I thought they were a bit on the expensive side. They give you a discount to keep your whole box but sometimes it’s hard to justify $350+ for 3 or 4 pieces of clothing.
