Zulily is a very unique company that offers many benefits to their customers. The way the shop is designed is to bring ease to the busy lifestyle moms often face. Their goal is to provide these women with a one-stop shop for all their shopping needs by bringing them designer items at discount prices. The website operates a little differently than normal shopping sites but the company is very upfront about their procedures in their online descriptions. The way Zulily operates is by bringing in merchandise from other companies and brands to sell on their website at a discount price. Most items are designer items or name brands that Zulily sells for a fraction of the cost. Many of the products sell within the twenty dollar range but can be as low as ten dollars with any sale promotion used. Other retail websites often only have one or two promotions going on at any given time. They sell both men and women clothing including a plus size selection. They sell kids clothing, toys, gifts, home décor, shoes, baby and maternity items and much more. The site has so much material that shoppers can easily browse for hours and the company suggests again that customers use their App to be able to narrow down the searches of what they want to purchase.

An online retail store with the number of options that Zulily presents unfortunately falls short in some areas. The shipping and handling procedure at Zulily is difficult for consumers. Although the company is very clear about how the policy works on their website, if a customer does not read through the print entirely they could be disappointed in how their items make their way to them. Merchandise is not created at Zulily but instead bought from other companies and sold to shoppers, making them a middleman of sorts for online retailors. This makes the shipping process take longer than shopping directly from another company. Most items take as much as four to six weeks to get to their destination once they have been purchased on Zulily. The company does not offer a general free shipping policy but does have promotions that will sometimes include free shipping. However, one benefit Zulily does offer their customers is their all day shopping and one-time shipping policy. Because items move so quickly on the website the company allows shoppers to buy an item and keep it in their cart all day and continue shopping. They then only have to pay one shipping fee once their purchases are completed instead of paying shipping for each item they find at a great price. Returns at Zulily are just as complicated as the shipping and handling. Again, because of the way the company runs, as a middleman, returns are difficult, time consuming and costly for any customer. The website does not offer a clear return policy but instead directs any shopper wanting to return an item to contact their customer service department as quickly as possible. The customer service department however is noted around the Web as being difficult to get in contact with. Many customer reviews state that the customer service at Zulily is poor and needs to be greatly improved. The website layout at Zulily is designed to accommodate all of the merchandise available that is constantly changing daily. As mentioned before, the site brings in designer items from other websites to sell at discount prices. Most of these items are only available to purchase for a minimum of three days on Zulily. All merchandise is limited in the quantity and size, and the website runs off of a first come first serve policy. Once an item is sold out, it is not restocked but instead replaced with different merchandise. Even if an item is not bought, if the time frame runs out it is taken down from the website and is no longer available for purchase. This leaves shoppers having to quickly decide what they want and to purchase it quickly. It also creates a bit of chaos for the site itself in that it is constantly changing and customers can rarely find an item more than once.

Zulily is a very unique website that is specifically designed for moms and gives them a one-stop shop for most of their purchasing needs. They have a large variety or products, great prices on designer items and have countless promotions and sales that update constantly on the website. However, the shopping at Zulily is fast paced and although the procedure is laid out clearly on the site some shoppers might not like the unique style of Zulily. The shipping process takes longer than normal and returns are not easy with a difficult customer service department. Zulily is a fun way for moms to find what they need and their available App makes keeping up with the fast pace a little easier.

So impressed with this company. I didn't realize that I was shipping it to my Texas address instead of Florida and quickly attempted the change. I did so, only to find out that my address still had Texas in the state field. I contacted the company to let them know. The customer service associate let me know that with the zip code it might be ok., but he would let the supervisor know. They proceeded to call me that night to let me know that just in case, they were shipping the order again to my corrected address. I received to orders at the same time faster than anticipated. Needless to say, the extra shipping is going back. This is great customer service at its finest. I am very impressed. I will be shopping with Zulily again! <3 <3

I have been ordering different products, mostly women's clothing from Zulily for the past 2 years. I have had times when I did not receive the items that were supposedly delivered. I contacted customer service who made adjustments to my account/refunded the money with no problems. You do need to be careful of sizing because some items are being shipped from other countries. The site has a size chart that is extremely accurate for your use. Sometimes items take a long time to ship, so I wouldn't buy something that I needed in a hurry from Zulily. I get so many compliments on the clothes I purchase from this site because a lot of the designers are very unique. Paying attention to the brands is important as well, although since I started using the site, I have discovered fabulous brands that I was not familiar with before shopping online. I recently purchased salon hair products from the site which was a pleasant surprise. I have bought children's clothes, toys, women's shoes as well from the site. I was such a good customer that I was offered and accepted a Zulily credit card that allows me to charge my purchase over one billing cycle or to have it billed against my credit card over 3 billing cycles. I have had an excellent experience with this company.

I have been shopping online with them for years and I love it! You have to shop with the mind set that it does take 2 to 3 weeks to get your goods. They have a great selection of value goods of maybe cheaper quality (that seems to last pretty well, I have no shame, I buy it) and very nice quality expensive goods at discount prices. Because everything is at discount prices, you cannot always return it. The one or two times I did have an issue or was sent the wrong thing, they let me keep the item, gave me a full refund and a $10 credit toward my next purchase. Like I said, I have had great experiences with the site and shop there often!

I ordered a black shoe from Zulily but got navy blue instead. Sent an email about the shoe, got a $20 credited to my account and was told I needed to send the shoe back, calculated the cost of shipping back as Zulily won’t pay for returns and told the rep I’d keep the shoe ,and the $20 shd be taken out of my acc. Got a response back that I can keep the shoe and money wld be credited back to my acc. All this within a space of 2hrs. That’s good customer service .

Zulily has great deals. I have to try hard not to purchase items everyday. We have received a few items that were damaged and they were super good about refunding if they were out of product or replacing if they still had some in stock. You have to act fast or they will run out.

In the beginning Zulily return policy was fair. The last few years have been inconsistent. Yesterday I requested a return for a “trench coat” that was nothing more than a blouse. The photo and description were quite fraudulent. They are refusing to reimburse my shipping costs or even give a store credit. I’ve been ordering since their inception and have spent thousands of dollars over the years. Very poor policy! I’ll be deleting the app ASAP when I return the item and receive a payment. Scummbags!

I have used Zulily for years and in the beginning, they had a great return policy. However, I understand the company was sold and that's when buying from them became difficult. The sizing is always a hit or miss. Even using the sizing chart provided does not guarantee a good fit. The frequently have sales with items at 80% off, but if something doesn't fit, you have to pay approx. $8 to return. So if you buy a pair of shoes at a great deal of $6.00 but they run small, it is not worth it to return. Bottom line is you end up donating a lot of items because of missizing (which I believe should be a free return). The quality of the clothing is not always the greatest either. The fabric would be very thin and the sewing sloppy. Again it is a hit or miss so check the type of fabric, enlarge the picture to get a closer look at the fabric and check return policy (not all items are eligible for return. I am very cautious of what I buy from them and absolutely have to love it and hope that it fits. Other than the clothes, the other items I have bought, houseware, jewelry and beauty items all seem as advertised. So when it comes to buy clothing, buyer beware.

I've made several purchases from Zulily in the past year and have never had a problem with the merchandise or shipping. But I only buy name brands. Laurel Burch purses, The Mountain tee shirts, etc. were all great quality and great low prices. Some of the clothes they sell are from Chinese companies that you can find on ebay or aliexpress for less than half of what Zulily charges. That's the reason for the 4 stars. You must be patient with the shipping, as they wait until your entire order is in their warehouse before sending it out.

There are some really cute deals on Zulily! I often find great things on the site, but it's always frustrating to me that I have to login to search. Sometimes I just want to peruse the site without logging in. I also don't find the search very intuitive. The shipping fees are also a little painful. Zulily has expanded a bit since I first began shopping with them, which is a positive and negative. I love that there are more options, but I don't love that I have to hunt things down more now than I used to. And I don't love that it sometimes takes a while for things to get delivered to my house. I have purchased over the past 3 years between 200 and 300 items of clothing. I can point to approximately 20 items that I actually like, that fit me, that are a decent fabric, that are usable. The sizing is completely unpredictable, they purposely misrepresent merchandise in the photos, and will only offer store credit when you complain. The safest items to order and things I love are scarves and leather bags. Clothing is too big a gamble and almost never meets expectations. I've totally stopped shopping there because recently my computer protection company (MacAfee) has told me it is an unsafe website. Stay away from this site.

Quite possibly the WORST company to place orders with I have ever dealt with. NONE of their clothing is in the US, except for a handful of cheap junk. If you place an order in March, don't expect to see your stuff for 2-3 months. Everything comes from all over the world and it takes forever. I ordered a Christmas tunic in October. Today is December 12. I was told it was lost in CHINA and will not arrive until January!! What am I going to do with a Christmas top in January?? Refund or credit? No way! No returns...if it doesn't fit or you totally hate it, too bad. Clothing, when it arrives, is cheap, flimsy material and doesn't last very long. UPDATE...Dec 18..."my shipment is "Delayed in transit from shipper. " Called and asked for a refund. "Sorry..it may still show up." When??? Easter?? 29 phone calls in 2 months and all I got was a gum snapper on the other end saying "I dunno.".

Hit and miss with clothing. I usually get to the deals to late where things are gone. But they're great at alerting you if something comes back in stock. Shipping is a downer. Have had great deals on basic solid color dresses and cardigans. Kids name brand clothes are great too if you can get to your size quick enough.

Zulily is an interesting concept for a shopping website. They sell many past season items at a discount. You can definitely find cute things on there. That being said, there is also poor quality, inexpensive items. When you factor in shipping, the prices are not always the best. I don't see how this company has a rating above 1 star. First of all they sell cheap Chinese clothing made from horrible fabric. The sizing is never the same on any item. They charge you a flat rate of $5 per item for returning. Plus shipping fees of $8 plus a restocking fee. And they never give you a refund, only store credit. Most retailers want their customers to be satisfied with their purchase. Not Zulily. . I have tried to like this company but it is impossible. So I gave up.,

However, I received an email saying to check if I won a 100.00 shopping credit and when I checked I found I did win. The yellow banner stated the credit would be applied to my account and it never was. I contacted zulilly about this and kept receiving the same generic response "we are checking into it". Personally I would not purchase from the again. Delivery is extremely long. The charge shipping upon ordering, then charge shipping upon returning! FAQ doesn't address how to make a pymt online. My credit limit dropped because my pymt per Zulily didn't reach them when I paid on the phone w/their CS reps because their online pymt service is horrible. Really?!!! I intended to shop more but after the drop in my limit that I paid off there's nothing that's worth my hard earned money. Their clothing is cute on paper but not so much when rec'd. Zulily customer service promised to fax in to the fraud rep from my banks for days and failed to do so. This took 2 weeks to resolve and get my money back. My account was not hacked, this was a Zulily issue. They shipped the merchandise I did not order to my address.
