Etsy

I have used many online retailers and find Etsy to be the absolute worst at providing customer support. Quick to take your money and poor at keeping the customer informed. I ordered something on 12 Dec and was guaranteed delivery by Xmas. After a week, I hadn't heard from Etsy regarding the shipment of the item, so I contacted them. They don't have a customer service phone number, so I had to email them. I then started receiving messages from "gear bubble". Not sure if they are the supplier, but THEY at least tried to keep me informed. After giving them my order number, they couldn't locate it. I later found out (through Gear Bubble) Etsy cancelled the order without letting me know, even though I told them in EVERY email that I didn't care how late, I still wanted the item. Apparently, they had a large demand for the item I ordered, but the way they handled it was unbelievably bad. I will never ever use Etsy again and I will make sure to share my experience with all my friends....

Etsy was such a disappointment, I loved them at first and was using them a lot when I was planning my wedding. I ordered robes for my bridesmaids and the seller took my money and it went downhill from there. I followed up many times and she always had an excuse and would push the delivery date. After at least 5+ emails, the seller ghosted and never responded again. I tried to go through Etsy to get my money back and even sent them proof of all my emails to the seller. After a month of nothing from Etsy, I went to my credit card company and got my money back that day. Next thing I know MY account was suspended...ummm why? They told me I had to call my credit card company and give them the money back before they would unsuspend my account. So let me get this straight...YOUR seller steals my money and provides no product and ghosts me so I give you the chance to make it right and you dont, so MY account gets suspended for taking further actions...yea, that makes sense. Worst part, the suspended my,now, husband's account too because we had the same shipping address. Drastic measures for a company who was completely in the wrong the entire time. They are the worst! Buyer Beware, don't ever try to get your money back when products aren't delivered or else they will suspend your account!
