I have been in Dicks from time to time but usually leave without what I really wanted to buy. I have larger than normal feet and usually have an issue finding my size. This also seems to happen when looking for clothes in my size. If you are a larger and taller person then Dicks probably won't work for you either. I can say that they do have a wide array of products for the outdoors person from hunting/fishing to golf. I do like to walk around to see what they have but leave with nothing more often than not. I also think that they could step up their game as far as asking people if they need help, most of my visits have been without any contact by staff at all.

I purchased a treadmill in store on a Tuesday morning and was told the item was in stock. It was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday afternoon - The delivery was then rescheduled due to poor weather. I got a call the afternoon it was supposed to be delivered (two days later than initial date) stating that the contracted delivery service got to the store where the item was purchased to find that it was no longer in stock or available for pick-up. HUGE disappointment.

As a softball player, I need lots ans lots of gear to play the game. I have been to Dick's sporting goods several times but I always seem to leave not completely satisfied. The merchandise is average quality but is priced as if it were exceptional quality. I feel like I pay too much for the gear, but their selection is much bigger than most other sports retailers.

I have had both good and bad experiences with Dicks Sporting Goods. Something that I have struggled with is a lack of transparency in their advertising of goods. I have found things online and wanted to order them, but after going into the store to make sure that I was interested, I found that the products were not as high-quality as they were advertised to be. They can be pricy and sales are hard to come by for clothing. I would recommend doing your research and then visiting the store instead of shopping online.

Great if you are looking for more hobby/entry level gear. If you are looking for the much higher quality cleats/gear, go somewhere else or the company website. The store selection seems a lot more catered to less competitive levels.

I wish Dick's prices were more competitive. They have a great selection of items, but they are definitely at the top of the price range for most of their stuff.

I love that the store is broken down into each individual sport so that things are easier to find. Having 2 boys playing multiple sports makes this one of our favorite stores.

Dick's has such an amazing selection but it is so expensive! The quality is so great but I could go to Walmart and get something that could be found at Dick's that has great quality for less money.

I bought a great pair of mens K2 skates from Dick's Sporting Goods, the price was reasonable and they have all the replacement parts I could ever need. Staff is incredibly friendly as well.

Dicks has pretty good selection, but the quality of stuff they have is definitely great. For this, however, you will usually end up paying quite a bit.

The quality of their clothing is good but is too expensive. They don't have great selection for women's soccer or swimming.

Not bad they have a lot of great stuff but you need to catch it when it is on sale

I purchased some baseball pants for my son and they came quickly. But now I get way too many emails.

It was harder for me to find everything on the website. Everything I ordered came promptly and in good condition.

A nice way to get all the sports clothing in all their variety. And the stores are sprinkled everywhere!

Not my favorite sports store, but in a pinch you can find what you need.
