READ BEFORE PURCHASE! So I know that a lot of the reviews for this are pretty negative, but you have to understand that this product is 100% targeted toward a specific group of people.. introverts! 2020 is seriously the best thing introverts could get for themselves. With 2020, I was able to avoid every single awkward family event I didn't want to attend without having them pressure me to come anyway. I was also able to have a reason to not talk to people at the store without seeming like a jerk. I even managed to get my work to think that they should "let" me work from home as if that wasn't what I wanted all along haha. Seriously though, if you want a get-out-of-jail free card for all those in-person events that no introvert wants to be stuck doing, 2020 is the thing for you! Just one thing.. make sure you stock up on toilet paper in advance if you want the 0 stress experience. It's finally time that we can live life how we want to.. comfortable! No more "oh you just need to meet more people and socialize".. now it's "oh yeah you should probably stay home alone", it's great!

Honestly, knock on wood, 2020 is a winning year. Now, I’m not trying to downplay its many tragedies, because I know all too well about the suffering so many have felt this year. But let’s face it—we should celebrate small victories, even if they are that—small. And this year I’ve seen a number of those. The Dodgers (my favorite team) won the World Series, my brother got an adorable golden doodle, and heck, I started dating someone this year (and had 2020 not canceled all my existing plans, I never would have met him). Anyway, those are small wins, as I warned you they would be, and there are big losses this year, to be sure. But I choose to dwell on the happy, so hey, five stars to 2020.

I began this year as a simple college student with no girlfriend and no job. I will end it with a wife and an awesome job in my desired career path with opportunities for growth. Neither of these blessings would have come to me without a pandemic: It’s because of moving back home from college and starting online school that I was introduced to my wife and my job even became a possibility. Despite the hardships, I would invest in a year like 2020 because happily enduring difficulty leads to bounteous blessings like those I’ve received this year.

2020: Delivers what it promises There is no doubt that this product holds impeccable consistency. I’ve never had a year so predictably reliable. No surprises—Thanksgiving plans? cancelled. Graduation plans? cancelled. Amazing summer vacation abroad? double cancelled. However, the return policy is concerning. Can’t return within 365 days of purchase, and customer service puts you on hold. The warning label was definitely shocking—product can cause fever, headaches, trouble breathing, fires, political & civil unrest, isolation, family contention, and world shut down. However, product states side effects can be mitigated by wearing a mask and avoiding human contact. Product claims its benefits are an increase in free time, complimentary grocery delivery services, computer tech skills, and a decrease in awkward handshakes, expensive wedding costs, and occupational commutes. The trending claim really drew me in—a good excuse for spending the day in pajamas while engaged in ice cream and Netflix binges. Unfortunately, this product is a limited edition, but rumor has that manufacturers have improved many of the 2020 breakdowns in the next model (coming January 1st). Definitely looking forward to what’s in store.

It started off great. And then COVID. For a while, I had the same attitude that most other people had: I just wanted 2020 to be over. As if the year ending would solve all my problems. But that is surely not the case. After realizing that the year I was living in didn’t matter, I came to accept that even though the hardships weren’t going to end anytime soon, I had the power to decide what my year would look like. I decided that even though sucky things were happening around me, and sometimes to me, I didn’t have to let it ruin my year, my month or my day. I decided to be happy, to progress, and to love 2020 for the good things instead of the bad. My family relationship grew stronger. I found out who my real friends were. And most importantly, I found myself in places I never would have looked before all the hardships of 2020. So, all in all, 2020 was a great year for me. Was it 5 stars? Nope. But 4 stars is a very reliable rating. 2020 was exactly what I needed, when I needed it. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. And I can’t wait to see what progress I get to make in 2021. I hope 2021 is kinder to you.

2020 “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times” - Charles Dickens It was the best because some of my classes got a whole lot easier. It was the worst because some of my classes got a whole lot harder. It was the best because I got AirPods for online schooling. It was the worst because I couldn’t show them off to any of my friends. It was the best because my dad got to work from home. It was the worst because he always wanted to eat lunch super early. It was the best because my brother came home from college. It was the worst because the kitchen table got overcrowded with our notebooks. It was the best because I watched shows and played games with my brother. It was the worst because that meant watching two hours of Marble Olympics on YouTube. It was the best because I spent more time with my family. It was the worst because sports, trips, summer camps and concerts were cancelled. It was the best because I got to read Hunger Games for the first time. It was the worst because I got to read Hunger Games for the first time. It was the best because my brother met his future wife. It was the worst because we had no idea what their wedding would look like. It was the best because my sister and her husband got great job offers. It was the worst because they had to work from their one bedroom apartment. It was the best because I finally got my drivers license. It was the worst because I had hardly anywhere to drive to. It was the best because I started my junior year of high school. It was the worst because we got shut down twice and had to go remote. It was the best because I got a part in our school’s production of Clue. It was the worst because we still don’t know if it will happen or not. It was the best because wearing masks in the winter keeps my face warm. It was the worst because wearing masks in the summer ruins my makeup. It was the best because the world was more united. It was the worst because the world was more divided. Every year has its ups and downs, so what’s so different about this one? This one seemed to have a few more, I’ll admit, but every worst has its best.

2020 though not the year I was expecting and hoping for was actually a good year for humanity. Although it brought devastation and wide spread panic it also brought families closer together. It had a a surprising clue to uncover.

I'm giving 2020 a 3 star rating. Covid really put a damper on things, but I had my second child, our sweet baby boy this past year, so that definitely added a few stars. I only wish we could have shared our joy with our family!

I gave 2020 a middle of the road rating because circumstances surrounding the COVID outbreak and Presidential election left much to be desired. COVID will be defeated with a vaccine but the defeat of Donald Trump has left me in shock. I pray for our country because of the incoming administration and what is perceived concerning their beliefs.

The year 2020 is not recommended for those who find comfort in planning, working hard and reaching dreams. It is more satisfying for those who tend to procrastinate and say; "let's not make any plans and just see where the day/week/future takes us." They are the ones who were not disappointed. Those who continued to plan got lots of opportunities to revise, alter or cancel expectations. Many in denial would move on to plan B, C, D, E...etc, just to feel like they still had some control. I felt bad for those who thought they could sneak in a planned vacation or adventure only to end up stacking up credits or begging for refunds on airlines, hotels other vacation packages. To the optimistic it was the ultimate mirage of hope that appeared so close but never could arrive. Like a child in the back seat of the car on a long journey i kept asking, "how much longer?" and "Are we there yet?" Only to be answered that "we don't know and NOPE!" But it wasn't just about lost dreams and expectations. 2020 gave us the ultimate game of "To Tell the Truth". This popular tv game show from the 1970s was played out in real time with each citizen being the contestant who was presented with an unlimited number of celebrity panelists, (scientists, leaders and experts) all declaring that they were telling the truth. Revised rules allowed the panelists to continually change their mind and present conflicting data. Not sure if the game will ever end and the panelist who is really telling the truth will get to stand up.

Reflecting back, the year started off with brushfires raging across Australia, burning 18.6M acres and killing 1B animals. Then a US drone hit Baghdad International Airport and took down Iranian Major General, with war breathing over our shoulder. The horrific sudden death of Basketball legend Kobe Bryant, airplane crashes in Iran and Pakistan, The Tokyo Summer Olympics were postponed, U.S. Birth Rates Drop, the death of Eddie Van Halen, the Dow fell a sharp 2,997 points on March 16th amid mounting fears surrounding the coronavirus. Our President was impeached, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit the Royal family, social unrest over the killing of George Floyd, the First Commercial Rocket to Orbit Space, the deadly explosion in Beirut, wild fires raged through California and the west coast, the world as we knew it closed and we were told to stay home, March Madness aka the NCAA College Basketball Tournament was cancelled, after leading the first 3 ½ quarters, the 49ers lost the Superbowl in the last 6 minutes, Movie Theatres became bankrupt, Live performances are on life support, when sports resumed fans were not allowed in the stadiums, unemployment hit staggering levels of 23.1M American’s out of work Unemployment rose higher in three months of COVID-19 than it did in two years of the Great Recession. 2020 was a year to forget.

Could have been better. Didn’t get to celebrate my 30th birthday. But got to spend lots of time with my husband and child. So I guess it was okay. Also, started my business this year too.

2020 was the year that just kept giving! Of course absolutely NO ONE wanted anything this year gave them! It’s not that we’re an ungrateful generation but it’s kind of hard to celebrate and be thankful for death, plagues and oh let’s not forget the murder hornets. All in all, 2020 was one of the worst years on record for almost everyone. I give 2020 NO STARS! The only way this year could be worse is if 2021 comes in telling it “Here Dad....hold my beer!”

2020 was a tough year for all of us. But one thing i can say is that 2020 helped me get more confident of myself. I am grateful for that. And last thing my nephew was born on 2020❤❤

2020 was not the year I paid for. I requested a return but was denied again and again. The warning label for 2020 is grossly insufficient. If I could sue 2020, I would but there are no lawyers powerful enough to take on 2020. If I could rate 2020 zero stars I would, but this thing starts at one star. I could go on and on about 2020, but I won’t give 2020 the satisfaction. So long 2020. I will never consider your service again.

Unfortunately my daughters father was killed in July by his wife so I still have a grieving adult child and my mother who is in the nursing home tested positive for Covid19 last week but thankfully only mild symptoms. The worst is I haven’t seen my mom physically in person since March...I really want to hug my mom💔

I was not a big fan of The Year 2020 because it prevented me from hugging my grandchildren and being part of their lives. The Year 2020 forced me to adapt to alternate methods of communication including Zoom, Skype and FaceTime. Hopefully, I will be on this earth long enough to wave goodbye to The Year 2020 and sign on to The Year 2021.

This has been an absolutely unacceptable year and should be recalled. I mean, a virus is one thing, but one that closes down countries? Ridiculous. And then a questionable election and riots? Who dreamed this up? They should be fired.
