I had Allstate for many years and was denied a roof claim multiple times when contractors had verified that I had hail damage. Friends told me that Allstate was known for denying roof claims. I switched insurances and the new company approved the new roof.

About 30 years ago I had a car wreck which wasn't my fault. Other people hadn't insurance, and state farm stepped in and settled withe lawsuit and took care my hospital bills and even granted money so I was able to buy a new car.

My wife totaled her car and the process we had to go through was a huge hassle. no one knew what was going on at our local agent and we are still out money for damages to cargo that was in the vehicle. Ive had other companies and all I did was make one phone call and everything was taken care of. with state farm it was like we had to hold their hand through each step and make sure they followed through.
