Kings Island

King’s Island is the largest amusement and waterpark in the Midwest. Established in 1872 by the Taft Broadcasting company, King’s Island is found in Mason, Ohio. King’s Island is known to be the mecca of wooden roller coasters — hosting the world’s longest roller coasters.

Besides roller coasters and water parks, King’s Island had Dick Van Dyke as its official spokesman for several years adding to its popularity. Planet Snoopy is known to be the official kid-friendly area, while Soak City, camping grounds, and resorts provide fun places to stay nearby.
