Disneyland was founded in 1955 by Walt Disney. Located in Anaheim, California, Disneyland is constantly growing and bringing in guests from all over the world. With several “kingdoms,” Disneyland has something for everyone. Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s ToonTown, Adventureland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Main Street USA, New Orleans Square, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge all inhabit Disneyland, bringing Disney characters and experiences to life.

Although Disneyland only resides in California, Disney Parks manages Disneyland (CA), Disney World (FL), Disney Parks (Tokyo), Disney Parks (Paris), Disney Parks (Hong Kong), Disney Parks (China), and the new Aulani Disney experience in Hawaii. Besides the characters and attractions, guests enjoy limitless shows, dining, and shopping options.

Disneyland is not bad, but I feel like the negative side of Disney is never discussed. There are always long lines for the rides, and since it is a place that is meant for kids just be weary to the fact that kids are more than likely to be surrounding you all day. The food and merchandise is overpriced as well. But I wouldn't be opposed to going to Disney for a family trip. But if you want a place for a quick trip with your college buddies, or with your partner to ride adult rides Disney may not be the place for you.

Although Disneyland is supposed to be the happiest place on earth, it falls short of that. The lines are obnoxiously long, even when using the fast pass you have to wait a minimum of 45 minutes. They need to come up with some kind of better system so you don’t spend more than half of your day waiting in line to go on a 90 second ride. It also makes it very difficult for people who can’t stand long amounts of time, no seating areas while waiting in line and only chains in between the lines so not even an option to sit down anywhere. I do enjoy most of the rides, the avengers one is pretty cool.

It's a fun place to go if you are like 14 and under or you don't like super scary rides. Or I suppose if you really like Disney. Disney world is really a place for children and this has being my experience, at a certain age you really don't feel the magic. I go to theme parks mostly for the rides and Disneyland's rides just don't do it for me. Plus it's not worth the money. Truly its not.

I feel sad every time I hear that the prices at Disneyland continue to rise. With how much you already have to pay its disappointing when you get there because what you get are just huge crowds of people everywhere. You have to wait sometimes hours to get on a ride which quickly passes the day by. The happiest place on earth quickly can turn into the most frustrating.

Our family of 6 visited Disneyland in the Spring. We had a great time overall, but on the last day of our trip we finally decided to spend for the Max Passes and the app was down for half the day! My husband visited the service desk in the park but they did not refund our money for MP. It was frustrating. Disney does a great job but I wasn't overly impressed with the service. Some of the shows were canceled while we were there as well. With the crowds and these issues, it wasn't a favorite for our family.

I went to Disneyland for the first time in my life as an adult - my kids finally talked me into it! We tried to plan it during the off season (January) because I don't like crowds. It still felt really crowded (ironically the people around us told us that it was really "empty" compared to other days). I knew it was going to be expensive, not sure if it was worth it. Still, my wife and kids had an awesome time.

Disneyland is a magical place for my family. There's something for everyone! The lines are generally long, although that is to be expected. We love meeting the characters and taking pictures, but it's usually difficult to find them. We've gone a whole day without seeing any classic Disney characters but Fairy Godmother. The rides make up for it, but it is still somewhat disappointing.

These parks used to be an amazing trip ideas. But as the years went by, their quality has dropped while their prices have risen and much of what they have done to improve their ticket systems and their customer service was minimal.

Over priced and broken down rides seem to be the theme or this theme park. After my families last visit, we decided could use a break from this park for a few years. My children agreed. However, it does make for some memorable moments.

I loved going to Disneyland but to be honest I also feel like it is a bit overhyped at times. Long lines are a turn off for me and everything in the park is so expensive! Plus I went during the summer time and it was hot and my family members got irritable. Maybe my experience was an outlier but I feel like Disneyland is not worth the price to me.

I am a Disneyland fan but I hate the crowds and how much they charge for an entrance fee. We only go there on the "off-season" now because it's not worth the money in the summer time. Love the rides and the activities and the family friendly environment. Just wish it didn't cost so much to take our very large family.

Disneyland was so much fun for our family. We just wish that they would limit the number of people a little to decrease the size of the lines. Hard for kids who the park is supposedly for to wait in lines for so long

More like land of crowd/cattle control ! No where to sit down. Must keep moving and waiting in line. If the crowd goes down they just reduce their help so you still have to wait in lines

The theme park is a classic, but SOOOOO crowded. Long gone are the days of "off-season" empty lines. Worth a visit but be prepared for lots of people and spending lots of money.

Honestly I thought its over priced. I think Disneyland s a good time, but I think it is too much money for what it offers. I think it is a fantastic place for kids though for sure

We love Disneyland and all the yummy food but try not to go very often because of the crowds. Disney oversells the tickets and the lines are miserably long and sometimes it’s not worth the crowds.
