Medically Monitored Detox

Detox of South Florida offers detox services that include physical and mental health evaluations, medical detox, and individual therapy. Medical detox involves using medication to help clients through the pain and discomfort of withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Detox services at Detox of South Florida takes place over a minimum of 30 days.

Insurance

Detox of South Florida can check insurance compatibility and inform the patient of any accept personal plans in less than an hour. An online form can be filled out for information given by a member of the 24-hour helpline. The following is an available, but not exhaustive list provided by the center of insurance that is accepted for treatment: Humana, Cigna, BCBS, Tufts, CoreSource, Amerihealth, Hartford Neighborhood, Harvard Pilgrim.

Individualized Counseling

Detox of South Florida provides individual therapy to complement detox services. The therapy includes planning for future sobriety and success in the program. Counseling occurs in groups and individually. The center focuses on targeting patterns of abuse and relapse prevention.

Detox of South Florida does not disclose rates for treatment or discuss payment methods. The center reports that costs vary according to services provided, and that costs include professional fees, food, facilities, and utilities. The center does accept most major insurance providers to reduce or eliminate cost depending on the nature of your plan. Detox of South Florida encourages potential clients to fill out a form online to discover how much of the treatment is covered through insurance. Few Program Options

Detox of South Florida does not offer a 12-step program, or an alternative to the 12-step program for treatment. Outpatient treatments are often provided in client's homes or in a facility in order to accommodate a client's busy schedule and rigid responsibilities. At Detox of SF, Inpatient treatment is the only option. The center does not tailor to specific groups such as gender-specific therapy, youth or young adult therapy, Christian-based groups, or health professionals. The only services disclosed involve individual or group therapy and detox.

No Alumni Program

Some centers create a network of alumni that can connect with each other and offer support after their time at a rehabilitation facility has passed. Despite the continuing care provided after a client's regular stay, Detox of South Florida has no alumni program to connect individuals after completing their time at one of their rehabilitation centers.
