G Burt ,

TripAdvisor does a good job of providing all of the necessary details prior to booking a trip. I know exactly what I'm getting into, and I really trust the review process that they have for members to review hotels.

TripAdvisor is almost really helpful. I have used it a few times to help me get started in the right direction for various plans and activities, but not very often have I found the best activities on the site. It's difficult because it seeks to be a one-stop-shop for planning trips, but you would miss out on so much by only following TripAdvisor. Nice to use, but continue doing your own due diligence.

I use TripAdvisor frequently when traveling, weather it is to research new places or look for lodging in a specific location. It provides a lot of useful information from people who have been there.

TripAdvisor is a great way to be able to find fun things happening in your community and help plan your family vacation more effectively. Even though I believe TripAdvisor is a great source for your traveling needs I do think that it is sometimes hard to find specifically searched items on the website. But other than that I think that TripAdvisor is a great way to plan fun trips weather it be a two day trip or a two week vacation.

Trip Advisor is a great site to read other people's reviews of hotels and see pictures of what the rooms and property actually look like. It also is a great source of costs for trips.

My husband and I went on a trip to the UK and used TripAdvisor for almost every booking decision we made. We found tour guides and experiences we wouldn't have even known about, otherwise, and the site also directed us to different sight-seeing opportunities we didn't even know were options!

When I plan a trip I go to TripAdvisor to get recommendations on things to do in an area. Other users submit their reviews on activities and restaurants, etc. and it helps me decide how to plan our trip.

I have three trips that I have recently been researching and I have been using TripAdvisor to get the best price on airline, hotels, and car rentals. I really like the feature that I can leave my email and it will send me updates on the specific flights and dates.

I have looked at TripAdvisor several times in an attempt to get good pricing on air but I have never found their pricing to be better than other sites. I have also looked at motels with them when I was planning a trip to Canada but, again, didn't find their pricing attractive. Their site is easy to navigate, however, so I will continue to look at them for my flying and lodging needs in the future because they do have a good reputation.

Trip Advisor is alright but it doesn't offer as great of prices as you'd hope. Especially compared to hotel and airline website. And they don't offer any deals on Southwest airlines at all.

I used Tripadvisor for many years however I have recently found that they censor reviews (just will not post some reviews) and allow the same companies to list under multiple names. given some of my recent correspondence with Tripadvisor it is clear that many companies must be paying to be listed and others who do not pay are just not listed. I will look elsewhere for travel information and reviews given tripadvisors responses to this traveler.

Whenever I am looking for something fun to do on vacation I usually search the web and TripAdvisor always pops up. They have a lot of great ideas which is nice, but I feel like they mostly they packages of tourist activities that are more expensive or targeted for bigger groups so they haven't been my favorite source of information.

I always want TripAdvisor to be helpful in finding activities to do while I am in a new city but I never find it to be as useful as I expect it to be. They make it seem like their recommendations are the best but then locals always tell me other things that end up being more fun! They just need to give better recommendations.
