I received a letter from IRS a year after filing taxes through freetaxusa.com that i still owe money becuase I received extra education credits that year. Thanks to freetaxusa unclear instructions. Now I owe $660. Never using that website again.

I have used FreeTax USA for over 15 years. The program is smooth and easy to use and the Tech support is amazing if you run into any snags!

FreeTaxUSA is okay to use. The interface is not as good as some other sites but it can get the job done. Could be a bit more user friendly, and the prices are not competitive.

Great for a simple 1040-EZ. Very simple layout, and easy to complete. Once you get to itemizing, and adding on other forms, might not be the site for you.

Freetax usa is a decent place to do your taxes free. I used them one year and the interface is pretty basic and simple but i switched to another software they had more options.

Assuming not one mistake is made you may pass\ If one miss typed error is found, assistance is refused. Spend a few bucks more and have a PRO do your taxes. There is NO help at this place! William Noyes

I had a horrible experience with FreeTaxUSA a number of years ago. The overpriced service also came with the additional price of mistakes by the preparer that had to be corrected the following year. I would never recommend them to anyone looking for tax help!

Overpriced! I used Free Tax USA one time and won't make the same mistake again. I could have done a better job myself. I wouldn't recommend to anyone!
